Re: Are you Serious with the CO Op

Right i dont speak much on these forums but what i have got to say is usually 1 of two things funny and unimportant or serious and important

this is the latter or the last option incase you cant understand you degenerate freak

SHUT THE FECK UP YOU STUPID FOOL!

Calm down and take a joke you little kid or go and sit in the naughty corner or whatever the punishment is for your age.

    fool.

And stop bitching about the co-op

this is a reply to that kid who had a fit about someone sending us a pic of handbags.

When the sunshines does that mean it is always going to be a happy day?

If you guys seriously have a problem with this, return the game and go play Guildwars or WOW. I actually am starting to believe the community on these forums is full of people LESS than the age of 17.

Cry more people, cry more. <3

Obviously, the COMMUNITY was an important part of this game... PLEASE take this can of STFU and chug it. CO-OP is NOT what they claimed. They said couch co-op was going to be as a henchmen, due to not having your accoutn there, but if i'm on xbox live with my own char, why i nthe hell can't I take it to my friends world? What's so hard about this?

Re: Are you Serious with the CO Op

"Now...how is it Lionheads fault you missunderstood with what they mean with Henchmen?
In Fable 1 you could hire a computer controlled Henchmen.
The way Co-op works you basicly get a player that controlls one instead of the game doing so."

It was not a misunderstanding. They intentionally avoided explaining what exactly it was.  All we knew about it was they would get a bit of gold and xp from helping you complete your quest/level up.

However, if you want to get technical. LH claimed your characters looks would be based off your hero. How does selecting a pre-generated hero=that???

"If you go into another persons game as a guest the look of the character will be based off of your character's look.  If you don't have a character of your own you'll have a generic pre-determined look to your hero.  "

If you don't believe me, It's on the features list.

"If you don't have a character of your own you'll have a generic pre-determined look to your hero."

Wink [;)] see? They even say you have two options, selecting a hero or pre-determined.

LH lied, no matter how you look at it.

look all we wanted was to see our characters in other peoples worlds ok that would make the experience overall about 3 times more awesome. I cant beleive they would ship the game without fixing this huge feature i dont care if it had to be delayed until 2009.

    CONTlNUE:

    hahahaha!!!

even the lionhead dudes are telling people to piss off!

this is awesome! they know they released another half-assed game....

guys, we bought an updated version of the SIMS with major flaws, and the kids at lionhead just make fun of you guys for talking trash about the game! really, what does this tell you about the quality of their product looking at the quality of their employees?

look... we bought a copy, might as well spend today finishing the story (heard i can finish in a day?) and then return it....

hold up hold up...... LMFAO!!! they spent all their time with the story.... and it takes 10 hours?............ oh man that sucks ORLY [orly]

I totally agree. Lionhead, the co-op for this game SUCKS! To call it co-op is a joke in fact. I havent completed the game yet, but if meeting Lucian is anywhere close to the end then the story is far too short too. I didnt go straight for the main quest either, I bought nearly every business in the first city and am a master blacksmith and woodcutter. What happens after I meet up with Lucian, does the game end? Psssh. Im just glad I work full time and 60 bucks doesnt mean much to me. After I play this game through a few times ill likely shelve it for a clearly superior game made by americans who can actually put out a G o o d [Good] product, Fallout 3. Take a page.

Wow that Woody guy is a dousche BAG!

Look, PM said that you can go into your friends world and the npc's in his/her world will be scarred of you if you are E v i l [Evil]!!! How can they be scarred of you if your'e a default henchmen?

Re: Are you Serious with the CO Op

Coop is probably the most disappointing thing yet. I am sorry but nobody wants to be a preset character when the the game emphasizes on what kind of person you will be and how you will look. It just seems really lame of LH to use pregenerated henchmen instead of actual characters. I still like the game but I really hope there is DLC for this because it is a serious problem.

    Woody:

In all seriousness the co-op of the game is what we always said it was going to be. Maybe it's a bit like marmite, some people like it and others hate it but it does what it says on the tin (I know marmite doesn't come in tins but you get the point).

Thanks for all your nice comments, I’ll be in the Bowerstone Market later on in the evening...

You didnt lie about the co op.. you just mislead us, didnt give us the full story and you should have made things more explicit. And now you shall feel the repercussions for your choice to not give us the full story

Re: Are you Serious with the CO Op

All Lionhead can do is learn from their mistakes and move on.

If they attempt to patch some further content in later, then that'll be grand. If not, nevermind. No big loss.

Ah, the ole "I can't deny/refute what you're saying so I will insult you instead approach" (AKA Ad Hominem ). How very professional of you to make insinuations about your fans because they level complaints against your product, it is no wonder your wondrous capabilities relegate you to glorified forum moderation duty, what an important member of the team you must be! ^^ [^^] I might give a second thought about making a comment like that but clearly your example sets the precedent that it's alright, doesn't it?

    I think it was funny.

"Oh he's being so unprofessional. Handbags - pfuh! Lionhead must employ clowns. Can their games be much better?"

*** that. I know these snobby pricks smile with satisfaction that maybe someone will think they're clever or something.
Can their lives be much better?

Yes, local couch co-op only though.

Surely the entire point of it being couch co-op is that it's local?

I only wrote this because I hate you.

Re: Are you Serious with the CO Op

First off, all the people telling other to stop moaning, like fullmetalpanic, f*** off into another thread and let people express their opinions. Angry [:@]

The average person expected to be able to play as their own character and can't understand why lionhead wouldn't want this as well. The facts that you can't fight your friends and you have to share a screen in just another kick in the teeth.

If lionhead want people to stop complaining, they should come and explain to their fans the reasons why co-op isn't the way it should/could be.

Man, you guys are grateful. They spend about 4 years designing and making a game for us. Then you just slag them off because its not how you specifically wanted it. Nice....

I personally dont care, you will spend about 3 seconds looking at the other players character. You get all the important stuff like skills.

There is probably an important reason why they didn't have two heroes in one game.

Yes there are glitches, people know. But you also know that the people are working hard to remove those glitches and make it a better game for you. So stop posting hate threads and play the goddamn game.

Being nice is strange, I can see a lot up here on morale highground

First - that's what they get when you release a game to the U.S first. It better be PERFECT or else.

Second - your'e right. there must be a reason why you can't have 2 hereos or a henchmen that LOOKS liek your hero... can we get a word from Lionhead as to why not?
