also, co-op has been buggy for people who join a childhood game with an adult character (they loose all there stuff in there adult savegame) and for me when we made a new gamesave for the second co-op player (same xbox) it erased my game and put theres in its place (although not specificaly a co-op issue, still an issue)

 

i am going to stay away from co-op entirely untill the next major patch.

The reason it "deleted" your other saved game is because you can only have one character per Xbox player profile. You need to make the other character on a 2nd profile. So basicly you just started a new game and it saved over your old one.

 

I get scarry. How many characters can i make with one live acoutnt? Hope more than 5.

That's a bit of a Learish move. You buy the game, you play it, and then you *** and moan about the Lionhead because they actually gave you something new in the Fable series, just missing the one measely thing that it seems you actually gave the biggest *** about.

I think if someone is gonna be so obnoxious as to throw something that so much work was put into back in the developer's face because the smallest thing is missing is such a *** move that you didn't deserve the game in the first place. Some kid is gonna open that copy of his game on Christmas and whether he mistreats his Xbox or game disc or whatever, he wouldn't be perioding out on the co-op. Tool.

We WERE misled. Thats all there is to it and you cant deny it. They told us that Co op was one of the greatest innovations that they had. Would someone mind telling me what's innovative about it?

The system is a step backwards in co op. no matter what you say you cant disagree with that. The way that co op was presented was VERY unprofessional and misleading and thats why were upset.

Personally, we couldnt give a *** if your not buying the game for co op, or if you are fine with using some pre generated bullshit that has no relevance to our game or our character. When im told I get to bring my character into the game at any time with no menus screens, that doesnt insinuate me having to CHOOSE a henchmen.

Its not like the developers are doing us some huge favor by gracing us with this game. Lionhead never promised you would look like your own Hero, from the beginning we all knew we would just be a "Henchman" though the camera isn't perfect it sure beats the hell out of split screen. So, no they didn't promise we could look like our own Hero, try watching some of the co-op videos, you'll see everytime where the other player picks a pre made "Henchman"

Co-op is not only a small feature to make us happy. In every Peter Molyneux video, he said that Fable 2 has some MAJOR features: co-op, drama and other ones...

*sigh* Yes, yes. You were mislead and we're all terribly sorry about that but the fact is, those of us who actually like Fable 2 are getting a bit tired of hearing your facts repeatedly.

It's a given that we were mislead, but why the heck would you get the game for free? If the game was centred around coop then maybe you're constant tirades would be less irritating, but the fact of the matter is that the game has absolutely nothing to do with coop.

Coop is just another optional feature. If you hate it that much, then just don't use it.

I'm sorry if I came across the wrong way. I'm just a little irritated that so many people are complaining so aggressively about something that is perhaps a little annoying, but not really that big a deal.

and that is why we have to make sure that these threads stay on top!!!! so they WILL fix this and i'm sure that they will. IT'S LIONHEAD!!!! TRUST ME THIS WILL GET FIXED. I'm sure that they have the option to do so but were preassured to realese the game as is due to marketing and sales.

THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES AFTER THIS HAS BEEN FIXED. Everyone will already have a bad ass char so then you can really see a badd ass char

Agreed, there are so many people on these forums right now who didn't do the research and filled in the blank for themselves. 

They never said you get to play with your hero, you told yourselves that, now you're mad at Lionhead for it.  You would think you could, but you would be wrong.

Windows 7 was my idea!

I have yet to touch the game but it was from what I read and saw in videos was that we(the players) could be running  around see a friends orb, invite em in the game and blam, my hero and his or her hero are running around together doing quests running towns etc. if he or she chooses to be and I, that could happen. This is my and I assume others interpretation of what the online co-op was presented as.

Instead it is some mediocre co-op where I can't even use my hero or heroine and I'm stuck with some premade henchman. Rather than us both be two equal heroes we have one hero and one hero's ***, where is the fun in that? Instead only my stats are loaded over and from what I hear not even my weapons or gear is.
Suggestion: make it so u and ur friend can be in the new campaign together rather than someone joining their friends just to kill an enemy then leave.
