Ever since I downloaded the free content my game save will not even load up anymore. It tells me the content was removed even though it's still on my hard drive and that I need to re-insert storage device? And when I delete the content it tells me that I need to download it again with the same results! Not only was the game freezing constantly before and almost unplayable now after downloading craphole island I can not play it at all! Thanks for wasting my money Lionhead!

I am having trouble with loading brightwood. I do the the blind date quest and when i go to go back to brightwood the game freezes. will not let me back into brightwood at all.

 

I am fully up to date with all patches. Is there something i can do about this?

 

 

I've had trouble with two glitches so far:

1: On my first file I've finished the game but my wife COMPLETELY ignores me. I can't interact with her in any way other than giving gifts. When I arrive in Bowerstone she arrives to greet me, but then wanders off as if I don't exist.

2: On my second file I arrived in Knothole Glade and completed the first quest. After I talked to the mayor and received the Ice Key, the key disappeared along with the mayor. My quest log is still telling me that I have to hand in the quest, but the mayor no longer exists and the golden trail disappears the moment I arrive on the island. I have tried leaving and re-entering the island and deleting and re-installing the pack but the mayor still no longer exists.

I have the french version of fable 2 and played the game in english thanks to the english voice pack. It was fine until the patch.

Apparently the patch messed up the english voice pack in my game(tried deleting it and dwnlding it again without any improvement). Now the audio for some sentences is apparently missing and the audio for some sentences is in french(with the majority in english).

For example at the beginning of the game when the sheriff calls you he says "Hey petites, venez par ici!"(Hey little ones, come here!) in french.

I think this is related to the patch though it may also be related to knothole island as i got both at the same time.

I know this is not a critical issue but please fix this, I want to enjoy those fine english voice actors!

The only bug, fortunately I've suffered terribly with is the 'duplicate wife' syndrome, apparently per developers its a result of giving a ring as a present to your wife. Gee, and I thought I was being sweet. My "wives" think my character is cheating on them (with their competition being their own non-corporeal dopplegangers). Makes it very hard if not impossible to keep from getting divorced.

Second, irritating but not detrimental, is the the bug I have where I cant dye my character's hair anymore. Its perma-blonde.

Would love to see these and everyone else's bugs fixed soon. Will that be DLC from the Marketplace when it FINALLY is released, after what, 4 months now?

Mmm.  I accepted an assassination job and then I allowed the time to run out.  Except the job outline says "time remaining: 0.0 days", but the job stays.  It's a might annoying because every time I enter Bowerstone mentally challenged protectors run around waving their swords and a shopkeeper runs away screaming.

Edit:  Since I killed the protectors everyone except Mr. Blank acts as if the job doesn't exist.  When I kill her I get 30 points but the job doesn't end.  So, once again, the patch has done wonders!

There is not a single NPC in the zone. Nobody there. I move along the coast until I reach a closed door. Treasures and chest and the gargoyle are there, but no characters, totally deserted.

I saved just when I entered the zone so reloading dont fix it. I also travel out and back again and still nobody is there.

What can I do?

my dog has vanished off into the middle of the ocean he is outside the map on all the mini maps and I can no longer use him I bought the DLC for my dog back now how can I get him back on my character

I have all patches + Knothole Island premium. I am playing on an old (2006) 360 premium edition:

When I entered the Ice temple on Knothole Island and came to the central chamber there was a graphical bug.

The textures flicker and/or are invisible! I thought it would be only in the DLC world but now I have it also in Oakfield in the entrance area!
When I come near this area my player character also starts to flicker (jitter?)

I think this is because one (or more) of the shaders is broken.

The newest patch should have taken care of that bug.

I'm having the same problem as  MalevolentDog, I can't load a save on Knothole Island. I'm wearing the armour and standing in the last temple, but it says "Please insert the storage device containing the downloadable content". My HDD is in! I tried deleting and re-downloading the content, didn't help. I'm gonna try installing the game, but I doubt that will work!

Can the moderator remove the above post. It seems that only when the story is followed the area populates. If you visit it before the main story event then nobody is there.

in other words... it is not a bug

I have been playing this game for several hours over several days without problem. But then I hit a freeze. After warping from Garth to Wraithness (wraithmarsh??) it freezes when i'm in the cage, it now freezes my xbox 360 and I need to force quit to restart it. I decided to restart and go for another quest and went to Knothole as soon as I'd killed thye goblins after entering the sun temple and it freezes again.  Any suggestions woulod be most welcome.  I'm kind of new to the xbox 360 and I'm a senior ( :-)  ) player so please any help explain clearly. I think the only thing glitchy of the economy is Bowerstone Market.

If you go to it from the Cemetery it becomes one star. if you go to it from Old Town it has the same stars that Old Town has.

Also Knothole always drops to one star after you upgrade the houses with better furniture

I'll explain as well as I can.

Saturday night I payed for knothole island and downloaded it with no problems.
I completed the first quest there, bought all the properties and resurected my dog.
Then I went back to bloodstone to finish the quest where you have to find all the pirate's treasure (I needed my dog to find the buried/last one I had to find to complete the quest).
I went on the ship and the loading screen came on for the island where I needed to find the last treasure.
Then everything froze.
I ejected the disc and turned off my xbox and I decided I would fix it in the morning.

So, this morning I tried going there again, and the screen froze.  I ejected the disc and restarted my xbox and tried again.  But when the open title came on, the game froze then.
I tried yet again, I got past the title and logged in and this time it froze (yet again) at the loading screen to go to the treasure island thing.

I don't know if it is just a bug with knothole island, or if it is something else.

And just to let all of you know, I don't think it is my xbox.  It had gotten the red ring of death so I sent it in and got a new one back about 2 weeks ago.
If it is the xbox's fault, then I will be very angry with microsoft.

I'm having the same problem as Keithhy, well the second one at least. I finished the Big Freeze, got the trophy, heat wave, and renown, but as soon as I got the trophy the mayor dissapeared. I've left the island boat and fast travel, waited several in-game days, and turned off the game and walked away, but whenever I go back to the island, no mayor. Has there been a patch to fix this yet?

Game freezes.  I had to install Fable 2 and its 6.8GB of glory to my 20GB HDD to resolve this...

Marital home glitch- I kill wife #1 and can't move into the house that she and I were in with wife #2.

Fable 2 keeps freezing, please help.

I have multiple saved games. Every time i get back from the spire the game freezes when i try to load westcliff, bowerstone lake and now the new expansion knothole island. I have swapped disk and tried loading to my hard drive. Nothing seems to work. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but at least this topic gets looked at. Is their a patch comming or am I just out of the 60 or so dollars i wasted on this game.

If the game ran without problems i would like it, as it stands now it's a load of crap!

Prior to downloading Knothole, that's what I was seeing in the 'Region' menu, but now I see the same problem with any region that has a 5 star economy.

As for Knothole Island's region/economy rating in the menu, I've repeatedly seen it as 1 star when checking from the Bowerstone docks, only to travel to the island and check and it's at 5 stars.  Menu bugs, not top priority for sure, but still annoying.
