Ok I admit I didn't search all 57 pages to see if other posted these glitches. There is little point in asking about it in the main tech help section since most of those posts have no responses.

After getting KI everything seemed ok but now I get;

Dupes on certain NPC's. Most towns now have 2 town criers. If I kill one even in the same region the game regens one. This started after I opened the demon door in Wraithmarsh. I had taken the crier from Bowerstone Market but that should not have effected all the other regions as well. I should add that I brought the group back to Fairfax and Bowerstone instead going through the door and just letting them go off on their own.

Axes have been removed from my game. None are found in any shop including the traveling merchants. Poof just gone. And I have waited for a very long time, trust me they are just no longer being sold on any of my saves no matter where they are in the main quest line.

Flame augmentations that are unique to KI are gone. I tried all 4 of my saves and one other profile...they just like the axes have been permanently deleted from my game.

The 'dresser' (gun case) is now only upgradeable with a bookcase. I'm pretty sure that it was run off the dresser models before. But now if I want to upgrade it I have to use a high quality bookcase.

The longer I play the more I see a slow break down in the way the game is functioning.

Ok after starting a new character on a new profile the heavy weapons and flame stones have reappeared but now the long swords are gone. This effects not just my profile but all profiles/games on my xbox! Once something vanishes they are gone for anybody that plays Fable on my console.

I found that in order to fix npc dupes you have to kill both of them in the region they spawn in. I now have 2 of all vendors in the gypsy camp and 2 general s trader in KI. The babies born from my KI spouse don't mature into children. I moved the family 3 times waiting 1 week in a different region after each move. I then slept for 4 weeks in a different area and the baby is still in the cradle, that makes 7 weeks total. I have never had to wait that long for a child to mature before. Either KI or the patch messed up something.

To add further insult LH is now talking about yet another dlc....fix what's broke FIRST!!!!!  It's obvious that players will always find bugs,glitches,and flaws that testers can't seem to find. Releasing a patch at the same time you release a new dlc makes finding these problems hard to fix...what really broke them the patch or the dlc. The testers are either drunk,on drugs,incompetent or given the material with no real time to play test it.

i'm having a glitch and so is my friend, my friends glitch first: his dog is having the quest thing over his head all the time so it doesnt find digging spots treasures or anything at all and it has a tendency to stand still not moving. now mine i am fully pure and and my appearence didnt change i got full and corrupt still no change i look like the neutral hero i was

Installed Knothole Island DLC and went through the story, got through the third shrine, right after I got the Knighthole Knight Helmet and was in the middle of fighting the Troll when BAM, It looks like I'm lookin through red plastic wrap. It's like I can see everything, just filtered through a thousand red dots flying to the screen like a strobe light. it doesn't happen when I'm in the menu or the loading screens though. Just when im walking around.

I uninstalled it from my hard drive, restarted my xbox, reinstalled to my hard drive. And of course i have the misfortune of having saved right after i fought the troll.

Anyone have any suggestions outside of starting a new game? i was working on getting as much as i could before having to restart.

I had the ame thing happen only it was at the start of the game when you step into the forcefield which ends up turning red. It then stuck like that with the red on the screen. I uninstalled and deleted the game and started new ones and everything. NOthing mattered. And it on happened with Fable 2, every other games was fine.

But I would like to say that my xbox is now broke. But I was able to play other games before it broke but after this problem, and I had no further issues. I will just have to see when I get my xbox back.

There's something weird going on with my game; every time I try and load my first hero, it freezes on the loading screen. My whole Xbox stops responding, the guide wont come up or anything. It only happens on my first hero, but happens with any Fable II disk I use. It completely stops my Xbox from working unless I restart it. I've tried downloading the game to my hard-drive, that didn't fix it.
Anybody know any other possible fixes?

Ok, so I don't think I'm very far in the game (I'm on the Hero of Will quest) but I've experienced several minor and semi-major glitches (none that are game-ending AS FAR AS I KNOW-- some could cause problems later according to other posts I've read on various sites).  I'll try to be as specific as possible.  LIST!

1) Minor glitches that don't warrent their own numbers-- I have trouble getting out of water (sometimes it takes me 5 to 10 minutes, especially if I'm getting out onto a dock). Names sometimes get stuck at the top of the screen, making it impossible for me to use my ranged weapon because Y opens NPC details instead of aiming.

2) Silly graphical issues--don't hinder gameplay, but do kind of take away from the experience.  This includes giant amorphous blobs appearing and disappearing randomly, missing body parts (they usually come back after a few seconds of fiddling with the camera angle), invisible NPCs (ditto), etc.  Sometimes I think I have WonderDog because he's always flying off of cliffs, walking through walls and...

3) Poofing Pooch-- ...straight-up disappearing.  This is kind of a problem.  I'm sure it's happened more times than I realize, but I really only notice it when I find treasure and he doesn't bark.  I'll turn around and he's gone.  He comes back after a few minutes though, as long as I don't just stand around and wait for him.  I watched him vanish once so I stayed in the vicinity hoping he'd reappear, but he wouldn't until I got out of view of where he disappeared.  There was also one time that he just sat down and wouldn't follow me anymore, but he was still responsive.  I've thought of a few possible reasons for it so I'm not sure if it was a glitch. A) it was raining and I was on my way outside... maybe he didn't wanna get wet? But he swims so that doesn't make much sense; B) I was going the wrong way to get to my next quest (I turned around because I'd missed treasure due to one of his disappearances)  when I started going the "right" way (which happened to be inside, out of the rain) he followed; C) he was wearing the collar of brooding. I figured it might have made him emo so I took it off and it hasn't happened since. *shrug*

4) Infamous Alex-- From what I understand a lot of people have had problems with the Alex character.  My problem was relatively small compared to some of the others that I've heard... but here's what happened.  I decided to destroy the rejection letter and marry Alex, of course, because he was a total sweetie <333 My plan was to use him to open the Oakvale demon door (this was before I realized that I needed to either propose or use the Blow a Kiss expression with my spouse in front of it... so my plan wouldn't have worked anyway) but when we got close to the door he just... stopped moving. Stopped responding.  It was very frustrating so I tried threatening him with my crossbow.  Err... but I was stupid and tried to cancel that action by pressing B... which sent a bunch of deadly blades through his face. OOPS!   Anyway, it worked out fine.  I went back to the ghost and the scene played out (I'm assuming) the way it would have if I'd given him the rejection letter (although I did get a chance to flirt with his ghost self until he was ready to get engaged again... too bad I didn't have a ring on me or I would have tried it. I saw an earlier post saying that they were married to him/her while he/she was a ghost!)

5) He Won't Let Me ****-- ((Did anyone get the Afroman reference?)) After my heart had time to heal and I got over the drama with Alex *snicker* I ended up marrying Julian the Alchemist (of course hoping for a discount on potions) but our wedding night was... less than fulfilling.  I used the Come Back to My Place expression and we headed upstairs.  I got naked and all that, he was totally into it, but when I went to get on the bed the only option I had was to sleep! I did NOT wanna sleep, but I tried pressing A anyway and it said "You cannot sleep now" (btw it's been telling me the same thing at every bed since then).  I tried taking him to the inn, thinking there may have just been a glitch on the bed, but it was the same there.  Then I tried getting us both drunk, thinking maybe we were just shy, and that just ended up making me gain weight with no way to work it off  T_T  I checked some forums and apparently it's not an uncommon problem. 

6) Missing Spouse-- this is one that I KNOW Lionhead has been made aware of because there are SOOOOOO many threads about it, but most of them have to do with Fairfax .  I read on some site (sorry I dont' know which one. it was a random Google result) that the above problem could be caused by being in the middle of a quest, so I decided to try to complete any that I had in progress. Hero of Will was the only one that was immediately completable, but the next step in the Gargoyle and Archaeologist quests were on my way, and the Oakvale demon door and Temple of Shadows was only slightly out of my way.  My plan was to go to Oakvale and get a temporary husband.  I would propose to him in front of the demon door (I didn't have Blow a Kiss yet or I would have brought Julian) then sacrifice him at the Temple of Shadows.  Unfortunately this didn't work (the door wasn't paying attention) so I was forced to slay him and go after someone else.  While in the process of getting someone else to fall in love with me, I aquired enough renown to get Blow a Kiss.  I didn't have another ring and it was night so instead of waiting for morning to buy one I went back home to grab my hubby so I could open the door.  But... he wasn't there.  His stats say our relationship is happy and he still wants sex, but I can't find him to give it to him (if I ever can).  I tried setting my breadcrumbs to find him but there are no breadcrumbs!  Ugh!  I DID NOT GIVE HIM A RING AS A GIFT, but I did give one to the guy I proposed to in front of the demon door.  This isn't a game-ending problem but it's very inconvenient because he gave me awesome discounts on potions, and he's the only seller that has the more powerful ones (the names of which I cannot think of at the moment).  Also if I'm unable to keep a spouse, or to make a child, then I'll miss out on quests and I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish the game.  I don't know if it's required to have kids, but I know they're needed for that one quest that keeps glitching for other people (the kid wont leave the hobbes' cave or something)

 

That's as far as I've gotten, but that just seems like way too many glitches for half-way through the game (if I'm even that far).  I understand that it's very expansive and it'd be nearly impossible to get every bug, but ones that happen as often as #'s 4, 5, and 6 (especially 6) should have easily been caught by testers.

 

the Love hurts quest is still glitched....can't finish the quest, can't kill the grave keeper nor lady grey....nor can I get them to follow me or alk to either....and every time I talk to the grave keeper he's in the wrong place, the door is a ghost...you go straight through...I can't get the last silver key nore the last gargoyle....lame dude....

i married a wife and got the save your son quest. but im told to meet my wife, but she has nothing for the quest for me. i heard u must go to the hobbe cave for the quest, went there and nothing there.

so i gave a ring to my wife.... and managed to marry her agian. so i took the step to kill her to get rid of the quest! shes dead, but quest still there. even thouhg my son is tking into care or whaevr, and i still have my 'second dead wife' . so i married another women, maybe they will divorce me.. nothing, more annoying than anyting

1 more to add is that if you leave the temple before the abbot is done talking to explore. The quest locks up and you are not able to speak to him later to initiate quest. Some others have had this same issue.

 

I have a similar problem and need help from you guys please!

After complete the mission in cemetery (kill 100 zombies) I bring back the book and deliver it to the two stupid men. After that I recived the trophy (zombie head or something like that) and my caracter start to move very slowly and can't  use any weapon or even sprint.

I can see it when you are talking and walking with someone like Theresa until she stops talking. And when I press pause and try to go directly to a quest or a job the game says I have to wait until something like a animation stops.

I tried to pick a new quest but the problem persists.

Please someone can help me because I did a lot of things and don't want to start over and lose my save game

I had a similar problem with the hollow men in cemetery quest.  I took the quest, entered the cemetery, and then activated the demon door there.  I held down A to enter the demon door, but actually it said "if you leave the area, the game will reload and progress will be lost" but I wasn't paying attention, so the game reloaded.  It took forever to reload, and when it did i was in the graveyard stuck in scene mode.  Same thing, cannot use weapons, magic, or access the menus, although I can still run.  Cannot take damage or get attacked by enemies.  Dog does not find dig spots or do anything useful.  After a very annoying, long period of time, I managed to have the town guards kill all 100 hollow men and I completed the quest, thinking this would fix it.  It didn't, and so this game is pretty much ruined as I cannot proceed without combat.  I have gone everywhere and started other quests, jobs, slept, etc to fix this but nothing has worked.  Emailed Lionhead, of course no response.  The manual says to contact Xbox support, but I really can't see what the point of that is since it is obvious my save game file is broken and I don't see them having anything helpful to say about that. 

It seems to me that there is some flag that determines whether or not you are in "scene mode," and that when you are, you can't do any of the things I mentioned.  But if this flag is tripped on your save game, and you are stuck, it seems like that shouldn't be too hard to fix.  Obviously I have no idea how the game is coded, so perhaps it is much more complicated than that.  Regardless, it makes me very sad that I have to give up on this game after the 25 hours I have put into it, as I really did like it before this happened.  Maybe if I write Lionhead a , old-fashioned paper letter, I will actually get a response.  But it seems more like their official policy is to ignore every problem that they aren't going to fix.  I can understand not fixing every bug, I really can, but not acknowledging the problem or offering any recompense just leads to the customer feeling betrayed. 

 I had for a while, problems with the game freezing, but I found that turning the 360 to horizontal appears to have fixed the problem.

Have they fixed the Glitch that makes Brightwood inaccessible after/while doing the Blind Date quest yet? Or the disappearing spouses bug?

i have the glitch where the expression statue is inaccessible and has no face, and its arms are spread like a "T" Shape.

its like they put all their time on knothole DLC that they dont even care about fixing all of our glitches. 

The only way to avoid this issue is to download the game to the hardrive, I've had this issue and have lost some really characters to this glitch....this is the only solution I have found... I lost my most powerful character....40 million exp as the lowest stats....its a pain to deal with that glitch....

I'm having a screen display problem too.  I'm running in widescreen at 720p and the subtitles at the top are getting chopped off and the health meter is just barely visible.

change your xbox settings to widescreen, that worked for me, got it all on to the screen then. even though im not using a widescreen tv, it just suites the game better for me.

Theres a glitch in giles farm where i cant change the furniture upstairs and theres a trophy stand that appears to be invisible and when u place a trophy on it its invisible too but u can still get it back

Major Glitch
I encounted this glitch unfortunatly were once you have finished the Arena and  get perfect on all, unlocking the chest you go to open the chest but i got teleported outside of the arena before i even got to open it causing my player to freeze completly...

Working Bottons (when frozen):
- Left Triger
- Left Bumper
- Up on D-pad (ocassionaly) usually non excistant.
- Right anologue Stick
-Left anologue stick (when holding LB)

all the rest of the bottons do not work also somtimes when pressing start it brings up the box showing Game Paused instead of the menu.
Hopfully it can be fixed as this is a major glitch that cuases your player not being able to move or interact.

Things iv tried:
- Teleporting to diffrent locations
- adding a local player.
(currently trying to add a online player to see if it works if i go to there world it will fix it.)

I have 6 characters and when opening the chest in the Hero Guild only 2 characters get the items from the website games, everyone else doesn't.

And I'm not getting any money/rent--it would only be a small amount, but Im still not getting any.

Seems I have discovered my own work around.
I just cleared out the cache and let redo the auto update when startingup the game.
I reloaded a character and was able to reopen the chest and get my website items.
Worked 4 times in a row.

Statue Glitch in the Bowerstone Cemetery.  No mask, arms are out, and doesn't respond to expressions.  Happened after I got the final expression in Fairfax Gardens.  After a while I went to the Cemetery and that's what I get.  I have Knothole Island, if that helps any.

I don't know if there's a way to fix it, but whatever.

I started playing my game today in the wraithmarshes and suddently my camera started quivering from time to time, for about fifteen minutes. Is that a know bug? What does causes it? is there a workaround? I hope it's manageble because it kills all the emersion just having the camera quivering all of a sudden.

I have 2 new problems now.
On some of my characters the D pad options are completly gone!
The D pad stuff in the bottom left corner, never shows up.
No digging or anything with the D pad.


On top of that I am no longer allowed to remove Fable 2 from my hdd.
When I go to do it it say something along the lines of-there is a problem with that action-which my only choice is-ok.

I've run into that problem the last couple of days.  The solution I have is to go find some enemies or do a quest and it should pop back up, if only temporary.
