I have just completed the main quest in Oakfield and found the first hero (cant remember her name but shes a butch *** wanna be) Now I am meant to travel to Bridgestone but every time I load bower lake the game freezes. I have emptied cache to no avail. Im not starting again as having put 8 hrs in I cant be bothered to risk the same thing happening. It would be if lionhead acknowledge there were loads of faults as at present Im close to selling a game I waited ages to play and fast loosing confidence in them.

Very similar to a problem I am having. My game locks every time I try to leave rookridge. Doesn't matter if its the gemstone grotto, Oakfield, etc. Just locks. I have tried 4 different Heros and it doesnt work so dont waste your time. There is something else seriously wrong. I hope they patch this soon!

the exact same thing happens to me. whenever a load screen comes up such as when im traveling it freezes. i have found that bringing the guide up helps a little. But, sadly,  i happened to save at a spot where i cannot even load my saved game anymore because of this. And why doesnt lionhead have anybody on the forums comforting us in our waste of 60 dollars?

I have completed the game and I am having the same problem.  I even tried a different hero and it didn't lock...but I have like 50 hours on my character and I need HELP!!!

I had a similar problem.  Same lockup during loading screen - it just goes black and the Xbox stops responding completely.  After the Jan update, instead of a total unresponsive Xbox black screen, I get a message that the hard drive is no longer attached to the Xbox.

Lionhead and Microsoft showed their f!@#$% asses on this game.  There are so many crashing issues.  I have no invested interest to start a new game - because this is just going to happen again.  When I emailed Lionhead about the issue they just referred me to their update page and said that something is being done about a fix to some of the problems out there. 

I guess ours was not addressed.
