    missing dlc solution

Some copies of Fable II Limited Collector's Edition missing downloadable content cards

    October 28, 2008

We have identified that some copies of the “Fable II” Limited Collector’s Edition are missing the downloadable content (DLC) cards, which give access to in-game bonus content.  This represents a small fraction of the total number of “Fable II” games shipped and sold, and is contained to the Limited Collector’s Edition of the game in North America. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you have purchased a copy of the “Fable II” Limited Collector’s Edition that appears to be missing the DLC card, please enter your Windows LIVE ID here.  Codes* will be sent out via email to the email address associated with your Windows LIVE ID within 5 working days.

*Only one token code per Windows LIVE ID.  Website fulfillment of this offer expires on 12/31/2008.

the only thing that sucks is that they don't really ask for any way to prove you bought the LCE so it sound like they are going to make it so everyone can get it.

    Re: missing dlc solution

I bet your account can only recieve the items if you've played the Fable II LE on it.

As in, that game is on your achievements list.

Which, of course, is easy to get around. I could just borrow my friends copy, put in the disc, and there we go.

the game disk is no different then the regular edition.  the only thing that was different was the extra disk and the DLC.

How comes that i haven't found a single bug that people with the regular edition has? Not even the Coop bugs where you lose all your stuff.

atleast it doesn't say limited edition on it unless it is written into the code on the disk.

    Ouch... this is like... rape.

    So, the original limited was:
    Game
    Hobbe Figurine
    Fate Cards
    Special Cigar-style box
    Making of DVD
    Special Halo Armor DLC
    Extra Dungeon and weapon DLC

    The new limited is:
    Game with glitches
A Making of DVD so you can see all the people that are laughing at how you paid ten extra dollars to get NOTHING!

Not only that, but all segments of the making of DVD are available for free download, so everyone can see them laughing at us, which makes this LCE 0.  This is fraud.

    Re: missing dlc solution

this isn't lionheads fault its microsofts for offering a code via e-mail they figured it would be the cheapest most cost effective thing now all we have to do is flood the support centres and ask to speak to a representative higher than tier 1 and *** and moan and they will change their minds. this would require all the people who bought the game and with a large number of people yelling at once hopefully we can crash their call centres world wide Stick out tongue [:P]

on a more serious note just cal microsoft and complain and this complaint will be lodged and with enough people complaining they can't ignore us. hell it worked for the 3 year RROD didnt it?

The Fallout 3 collectors is more of a ripoff. All it has is a small power armor figurine. Nothing more. Not even a concept art book or making of DVD. And it's $20 more expensive.

    Wrong!

It has a Vault Boy bobblehead figure, 100 page HARDCOVER Artbook, making of DVD which I'm sure is much better then Fable 2's, and it's all inside a lunchbox.

    Yes, a tin lunchbox.

    Re: missing dlc solution

This solution is for LCE owners in North America who did not get the appropriate code with their purchase. Microsoft will be monitoring submissions from users looking to abuse the system.

Our first concern is to get content into the hands of LCE customers in North America who did not receive a code in their retail package. There will be people that try to game the system - Microsoft are tracking requests and gamertags associated.
