I chose the few, but they're all really a waste of time, since there's no point in playing after that dissapointing ending.  Killed my drive to play it anymore.

I wanted to choose the few solely for the dog (all I had was a wife and those are easy enough to replace), but I decided to go with the many to try to redeem some of the I lost when playing the henchman of a friend who was going for (I didn't know it would affect me too). I kind of regret it now, the dog was more useful than I gave him credit for.

I dont know which choice this is but I just did what the commadant told me to so I wouldnt lose any exp.

You dont acctually need the DOG for the Archeologist quest, just follow the clues to the right areas, follow the yellow trial by increasing the brightness and then when you get to the spot, press start goto items, miscelaneous the select spade and it wil dig up the Ancient Scroll! lol

I dont get why the DOG even takes a bullet for you lmao!

We get shot all the time in-game by bandits and junk so what makes Lucians bullet so special lol it takes about 5000 bullets to kill me anyways.. dumb dog!

But iv tried every ending, finished the game 6 times. Each ending with both and !

I chose Sacrifice on my very first character & game. I've started four more games since, and haven't played the end of the first game yet either. I have to marry again, marry someone in each community, (lol) hunt down the gargoyles, then hit up their treasure troves below Bowerstone Bridge, and so on.

Needs of the many the first time through, but had to stop playing that hero afterward because I missed my dog too much. The world felt empty and pointless.

On my second hero now and I will definitely choose the needs of the few. I don't know why anyone would ever choose the last one, it's so easy to make money. I have over 5 million now and I already own every building. Buy low, sell high, easy as pie.

I chose the needs of few. My dog is a valuable tool, of which without I could not have found all of the silver keys. Then theirs my family... there's just something about returning to town after a long journey and having my kids run up to me and say: "Daddy I missed you!" Then my wife says: " Where the hell have you been?" Its juts something magic, I think. Lionhead nailed that.

Which is why I was kinda disappointed with the other choices on offer. Fame? Money? I can get the admiration of the people of Albion via sock puppets. And money? My rent is at nuetral, and i'm making 16k every five minutes.

What imwondering, is, if my hero really could make whatever wish he wanted in that Spire, why not wish that none of it had ever happened? That Lucian's family hadn't died, thus he would not set of in a mad rage, and attempt to rebuilt the tattered Spire. You would be back on the streets of Bowerstone, with your sister rose, your trusty best friend, and all the time in the world to rethink who you will become. Sure, you give up your family, all those expirences that made you who you are, but none of it was ever anything but fate, anyway, right? A way to counter lucians place.

I would have liked game changing choices like that. However, the obviouse flaw is in how it would actually make the game play out from there. Maybe, you would go back through childhood, grow up as you did before, as would rose. You would still become a great hero, just a second time over. It would have also been cool to see lucian in Fairfax castle, but of course, not all.... hell bent on destroying the world. To see him . Like, maybe, you go to Fairfax gardens, an you see him embrace his family. Then he thanks you for your sacrifice, and when you bacame an adult, you inherit the castle. I don't know... just random ideas off the top of my head.

My first playthrough I was playing a character, so I made the logical role playing choice at the end.  Needs of the many.  I was eager to see the ending, so I made my choice quickly.  I ignored the little comment about seeing your loved ones, including your faithful dog, and was annoyed when I materialized without my dog.

I was so pissed when I read the inscription on my statue that the people of Albion gave me, about my great sacrifice, that I decided to make another sacrifice and go on a massive killing spree traveling to each town and picking off as many innocents as I could before getting bored and starting a new character.

Needs of the few. Mainly for the dog as i was planning to carry on playing and didnt see wanted the help finding the dig spots (even though they're usually full of crap).

Didn't care too much for the family, not sure which one he killed. Does he kill all of them? "Your wife and daughter are dead".... Which ones? I'm more fond of little Annie than i am of snotty Jake.

And the money choice? Really not worth it as money is extremely easy to come by without playing the tedious job roles.

 I think it's obvious nobody wants the needs of the one. Money is not an issue, especially when it's an amount that makes you less surprised than what happens if you fail sock puppet.

Even if you don't care about your dog, it's still useless to choose the needs of the many. You might get a pretty statue, but nothing useful that lessens the effect of the awful ending. Bringing you dog back, nobody can really deny his usefullnes, is the best choice at the end.

I should have picked love because I couldn't complete any of the archaeologist quests, or the Lady Grey quest.  Also, I know it is also supposed to be a selfless act, but this reward could have been obtained by just being (All you have to do is donate 250 gold to the temple of light 30 times).

Do you mean you can bring everyone back to life by donating to the temple or just that you can get the points?

Sort of... Go to Memory Lane, it is the area through the Rookridge Demon Door. If you haven't unlocked the door already, sorry but no dice!

I've heard that he comes back temporarily to complete that door. He's whisked off again afterwards, though.

I feel very respected right now, i chose The Need of Few, but i just did the 200th vote and made it 69%. AWESOME

Seeing as I was not married on my first hero I would have pefured to choose the needs of many to see the community grow. but i needid my dog Shnarvel for quests and becuse i love the little guy. The first thing i did when i first saw him when he was back is scould him becuse of his sacrifice. Wow he took the bullet for me big deal lucian just reloaded and shot me agian. if shnarvel just waited like a dog I could have saved many more lives.

also on my second hero i did the quests i needid him for and was going to choose the needs of many. but this time i married and grew attached to my wife lara.
