Hello,
I was thinking to create a magazine on tmo and I need your help . .

Though I know that there is a lot of compeiton and It needs a lot of hard work.

I am ready and I also think that:

Without competion, there is no fun!

So, guys please help me out. I've thought the name:

TLB||||||
Magazine -The Latest Buzz

I believe you have somewhat overestimated the market.There is very little competition in fact, I don't think I've seen any other active magazines around these parts, since the website is pretty much dead.

All the best with this venture, but bear in mind that it might be wasted effort since a lot of the filmmakers from this site have gone on to the TMU website.

Just remember to stick with it - I've got a magazine I update every now and then, but you'd be surprised just how much time it takes. My advice would be to make sure you're using a browser that shows the toolbar with font size, colour, etc so you can take advantage of it.
PM yourself as well. That's a great way of saving what you've done if you need to stop half way through (if you make it in Word and copy and paste it, you'll have a lot of problems when you post it). When you come back you can open up the PM with the work in, quote it and remove the tags, then get back to work.


As for liking competition, you'll get very bored. There isn't any .

Oh and, looking at your banner, you can choose to remove the link to imageshack (or whatever uploader you've used) if you want, just get rid of everything except what's in the [img][/img] tags.

When do you think the first issue will be out? You might want to change your title if it's after the next few weeks. I'm not saying you have to, but I'm not sure if it would make much sense to start making a magazine for TMO once TMO's gone down (5th December) . It could be a nice tribute to it though.

Why don't you make a TMU magazine instead?

That way you would be making them for a long period of time, and more people are on TMU since TMO is terminally ill.

Well, the catogories open to willing reporters are:

If you go for Reviews -

A member of the review pannel. ( You can call yourself a reviewer[.)

If you want to go for Editorial-

Article collection and article editing support.

If you wan't to go for Repoting then -

1) Senior reporter- Your job- reporting on events and occasions and you take out the best and worst points and ofcourse the buzz and create a story.
Later it may be edited by the editor if need correction.

You will also interview our guest directors.

2)Junior reporter- You will go to minor event and occasions and do the same. But you can not do the interviews.

Well later our minds can change. .

So, If you do not want to do much work you can take this post. But you will not be sponsored or honoured as much as the Senior Editor.

3) Special reporter- Your job- you will be called to interview special guests.

You will be the most sponsored and honoured but you need to in your speech and reports . Maybe as sly as can be .

4) Special jobs-

a) Event manager - You will manage all events hosted/sponsored by us. As well as the new Tmo Parties concept* (that is like a combo. of movies , chatting or skype and fun!)
*This may or may not happen.

And you will have to manage the AANNUAL TLB AWARDS but you will also be credited.
b) The Advert manager- YOu will be given to handle all advertisements and marketing through out TMO COMMUNITY, TMOA COMMUNITY , etc. After release of issues and annoucement of events.

I don't think it should be TMO or TMU, just TM. It's a magazine about The Movies and its community, so why either?
