At the end of the quest "The Summoners" where you have to clear 100
hollow men from the graveyard, my game claims a "disk is unreadable"
error as the last man is slain. Which is odd as the game is in PERFECT
condition, I can't stress that enough, probably the cleanest disk I've
ever seen. I've tried wiping it of course, but naturally that doesn't
work, what with the disk being already perfect.
This error
occurs in this exact same place every time, which sucks, and I wouldn't
mind just skipping the quest if the game would let me, however when I
try, and leave the graveyard, the game won't access my menus (just says
"scene paused"), let me attack, emote, anything except run about, until
I return to the graveyard, then I get my menu and moves back. I've
tried accessing another quest in the menu, it gives me the option of
"reloading" which just takes me to start of the same mission, where I'm
either stuck in the graveyard, or if I leave I can't access anything.

availingfaith:1. Applying secondary dye to any item causes the screen to jump, glitch and pause. This happens every single time.
Place: Browerstone
2. Working as a Black Smith you lose your gloves. When you are done working you have to re-equip your gloves.
3. Audio - There are a lot of audio issues. For example when listening on a 5.1 surround system and in a Town, you will hear very loud spikes in the speech of townsfolk's. No they are not yelling at me, just talking normal when all the sudden audible level of their voice spikes really loud.
4. Not being able to assign potions to the D-pad ala Fable 1 really sucks. Having to go to the pause menu really takes you out of the action. I know the game automatically chooses a food item or potion but it's never what I actually wanted to use.
5. Menu lag. If your going to force us to spend a ton of time in the start menu, at least create a lag-free enviroment.
I love Fable and Fable 2 was by far my most anticipated game of the year. That said, the lack of polish sucks. I really feel like I'm playing a Beta version of the game. So many graphic and audio errors.
Please patch all these issues, Fable deserves better.
You know I've never experienced the Dye or the Audio issues, however, I have to agree whole-heartedly with availingfaith about the "quality" of Fable 2.
1. I have graphical issues where after either playing a few hours or even just turning it on from sleeping the night before; the game has some serious "hick-ups" with loading it's skins/textures/environment while I'm playing through in single player and most of the time it's right after working for the blacksmith.
2. Though, when playing with other people we've noticed that the game has a VERY difficult time keeping up with what merely two heroes are doing. 3. While using a lvl 2 or higher lighting spell on the beetles there will sometimes be what looks like a "sphere/star" of floating lightning left where the beetle (sometimes hollow man) was on the field, that is, until I have to move regions or reload the one I'm in. 4. I have to agree with the posted problem of having to jump in and out of the menu to get to my items. I greatly appreciated the wonderful D-pad system you guys had from the first game. I'm not trying to tell you how to make your game but you sincerely had something great with the first D-pad system/menu. Don't get me wrong, I just have lag and hang-up issues when I do the consecutive jump from menu to game just to eat "1 Crisp Celery" or what-have-you. I feel that it wouldn't pull from the enjoyment of gameplay if perhaps there was some way to put that system back in the game.
5. I have to say that as a BETA tester for Stargate Worlds I'm pretty used to looking at glithces, bugs, hang-ups, what-have-you. I have to say that when it comes down to the overall look and feel of the game as you play further and further; it just gives off the feeling that it was all rushed to a release during the polishing phases of development... I'm really not trying to rag on the game, beleive me I have anticipate this game since I bought and beat "Lost Chapters", so to have so many random glitches here and there just pulls from the gameplay. Again, I truly am not saying that this game is bad and should be remade (or is even in the slightest bit unfinished) I am only saying that it gives the impression of that after you've been playing a few days and or long hours. I appreciate the game and am proud to be a fan of the franchise (I died a little inside when I found out that I wouldn't be getting the Limited Collector's Edition). Though, the Collector's Edition Strategy Guide has a wealth of information in the Art book and I thank you guys for that!! Thank you very much for being on top of everything, I do apologize for unloading this on you all at once, but I feel it's better than not saying anything and letting unsatisfactory go on. Again, I appreciate the game, you the creators, developers, and all that you've done and are doing.
Engineering is said to be the love-child between Art and Science.

Basically i am well aware of abbot glitch before/at the beginning of the ritual quest, but mine is further on then that.
I have gone all the way through the dungeon with hannah, and im in the final room, where she says the chant and the gates opens to let robin in.
This is where it glitches, robin comes in and just pants, doesn't say anything, just pants, but, the thing is i can move around on the plate, i can pause, its not alot but it something.
Really i need to know if this a problem with the disc, as i ordered it online and i only have so long before i can't do anything about it ![Sad <img src=]() " src="/emoticons/emotion-6.gif">
Anyway, thats my bug.

I am having a problem when I go online and switch between which kind of Online orbs I see (Everyone/Friends only). If I start out with Everyone, I can see every one in the area. If I switch to "Friends only" all orbs disappear, including my friends orbs. After that, I switch it back to "Everyone", and I get no orbs at all. none what-so-ever.
The secondary problem I'm having, which may not be a problem at all, is that my girlfriend and I are trying to meet up, but we cannot find each others orbs at all, and not for lack of trying. We were standing on the steps of the entrance to the crucible and yet, we could see other people's orbs, but not each others. We even traveled to Howling Halls and Bowerstone Market Town Square to see if we would spot eachother, but no luck.

Well, I got to page 12 before I stopped reading posts, so-- (If some of these have been covered multiple times before, my apologies.) I've put about 15-20 hours into the game so far and have been fortunate enough to avoid any of the game-killing bugs. As far as I can tell from some of the issues here, I think some of my luck can be attributed to: * avoiding co-op (only had a friend in my game once, while taking Hammer to Bloodstone) * never playing pub games * very rarely skipping conversations or running off without ending them Another piece of advice might be: If your game starts doing something wacky, DON'T SAVE. Quit and reload from your last save to try to avoid whatever badness before you get stuck with it permanently. Some minor bugs that I've come across during gameplay: * lag in job mini games, especially blacksmithing (sometimes I never even get to see the very first gauge - it gets to its smallest width while everything else on the screen draws first) * the furniture shop in Bowerstone runs out of non-book (Pretty Inside) stock permanently (the only workaround I've discovered so far is to get to Bloodstone and use the one there) EDIT: Found a "fix" for it here: http://community.lionhead.com/forums/thread/3173527.aspx * severe lag in the menu when inventory sub menus with lots of items are expanded out and scrolled down * lack of A button responsiveness in shop menus (couldn't buy augmented weapons from sellers for a while even though I had more than enough cash) * the camera control in co-op mode makes me seriously never want to play co-op ever again (which is sad, because that mode is one of the reasons why I picked the game up - and the potential bugs I've read about here solidify that decision ![Stick out tongue [:P]](/emoticons/emotion-4.gif) ) * getting stuck on relatively flat pieces of terrain with slight unnevennesses (cracks, etc) (the collision boxes are a little TOO fine in those instances; is especially irritating while trying to fight) * following glowing trails back to empty circles to trigger them, then having to search for the character I know the circle was supposed to be around to trigger dialogue (might be related to why some people have some of these unending quest problems) * for all the talk about being able to vault minor obstacles, there is a surprising lack of those spots (pretty much only fences on flat plains are the only ones I can rely on consistently to give me that option) * once, while sprinting around Bowerstone at night, a white sliver of crescent moon attached itself to the center of the screen and would not go away (Save+Quit+reload took care of that one) * houses you own are oddly picky about the way you enter redecoration mode (due to the awkward placement of some of them, you have to sidestep just barely enough to be able to interact with the sign so you won't have to go around a step to get back inside) * can't progress the Death 'Til quest once it's accepted - with a female hero (the glowing trail never leaves the girl ghost, and she just keeps repeating herself when you revisit - not sure this one is a glitch though, might just be a PEBKAC sort of problem because I didn't pay attention to the complete dialog the first time ;p)
Things I read people talking about that aren't bugs: * pacifier icon above kids' head (the manual says it's simply an offspring marker - it doesn't depend on the age of the kid) * discoloration on the character's face * scarring due to KO (I did see a loading tip about this in between sections once)

Re: NIGHTMARE HOLLOW.. Trapped forever!
Sorry if this has been posted before.
I was doing a bounty hunter quest where I had to kill shadows. I killed them all except one. I look around the whole entire graveyard and the last shadow is nowhere to be seen. So basically i cant do any more bounty hunter quests and i have the message at the bottom of the screen "one creature remaining" all the time.

I also had the same problem. Got pissed. Started a new game. Got the Rescue mission glitch. Got pissed again. About to start another new game.
deltad: TOMGUPPER:I've got a glitch here which has basically made my game forfeit. Which makes me sad. I'll run through things that might be relevent. 1) Played for a while, no problems - Imported Pubgame stuff 2) Joined a Coop game, lost all my XP and Gold 3) Continued in my original game, got back to the level I was killing bandits and hobbes and the like 4) Played happily until now ... I visited a pubgame merchant guy, played a game of cards, banked out. And now the game is attempting to give me unlimited Plaits Hairstyle cards. I press 'take', and another one pops up on the screen. I turned the game off, turned it back on again - and it's still trying to give me the cards. Sigh Looks like I'll have to start all - over again I guess...
i have the exact same bug, but i didn't bother to gamble till at least another 6 hours into the game, : (
