I'm currently expierencing a glitch that makes your file useless - and it happened near the end of a 100% run.

After beating the Crucible Record, I ran into the room to grab the treasure chest with Mad Dog's weapon in it. Instead of the chest opening sequence happening, it acted like a cullis gate and sent me outside: saving in the process. When the loading screen ended, and I was outside in Westcliff, I couldn't move.
I tried using spells, I tried using my sword and gun, nothing. I was able to get to the menu screen and even 'teleported' to another region. Still couldn't move. I quit that file and went into another save; I could move in that file. Went back to this file; still couldn't move.

I'm in the middle of teleporting to the Drowned Farm, and letting the Banshee beat me to death (I have a lot of Resurrection Vials). Nothing even after getting hit.

This came at a really crappy time. All I needed to get the Completionist achievement was to max out all of my abilities, and I'm level 4 or 5 for most of them. Now that I can't move, I can't do anything else. (And yes, I also have the Head/Hat/Mustache expression, and all Dog tricks including the backwards flip, as well as that Fable2.com expression)

Any idea's on how to fix this?

Hello all! Have that annoying glitch where you can't interact with your own character after completing the crucible? Well I have the answer to fix your glitch, and it doesn't cost you anything except a friend's help.

Glitch solved by xbox live members: Vextrin and Deadman1991. Be sure to lend props.

1) Grab a cohort. Any other member will do. Be sure to be logged into your glitched character.

2) Fast-travel to Bowerstone Market: Town Square.
2a) member playing the cohort should be glitched too at this point and mot be able to move.

3) Have cohort cast a spell (level 5 inferno worked for us).
3a) this will attract the attention of the guards.
3b) this will unstick the cohort
3c) if you DON'T get the attention of the guards, get it by terrorizing some citizens or breaking stuff, etc.

4) When the guard comes over, resist the arrest and your character will be unstuck too!


be sure to give props to Vextrin and Deadman1991.

Have you tried installing the game to your Hard Drive? If you're currently installed already, have you tried uninstalling?

Whaaaa.... 24 hour clock??? Dasboard bug???

I'm stuck in the game because of a bug.

I'm in The Tattered Spire, after killing all the guards with Garth following/leading me. He then says that I should look out the window. I can do that (no one of the new recruits are moving by the way, if they're supposed to do that), but when I release the left trigger, my character just stands there, and I can't move him. I can move the camera slightly (but just behind my character's back) and the start menu still comes up, but that's it. I've tried reloading, changing small stuff like clothes, uninstalling the game, letting it wait 15 minutes after I've released the left trigger, but nothing changes.

I searched the forums and found one guy who had a similar problem, but he could just reload the game, and then everything was fine.

Is there anything I can do?

Oh, and I have a "PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR RESALE" game that I won together with an Xbox 360 from a Norwegian website. May that have something to do with it?

strange... now my daughter has the villager status.. but walks and talks... And is from Bowerstone? I moved from there a loooooooooooong time ago. @SplatterHappy: Thanks for tip about saving and quitting; I was actually able to fight the Commandant now. However, after defeating him, I can't get out of the room. The light on the ground that I'm supposed to follow is there, and when I get to the "ring of light" at one side of the room it "goes up" (hard to explain, but as it usually does). But then nothing happens. I can still control my character like usual, but that doesn't help me when the place I can play is limited to one room ... Do you have any secret and slightly risky tips for me this time? :-P

One of my wives is gone...vanished.  She didn't leave me.  Her status is still there, and my baby remains upstairs.  She is just not in the world anymore.  I took her into another zone before I realized she was following me, then dismissed her, now I haven't seen her again.

This is really annoying.

I had a simular problem, my wife is gone as well, and my child stays up stairs right next to the bed and won't move.

Also, I live in the demon door in Oakfield, can't remember what its called.

I got hit with the Nightmare Hollow bug too (with the Hobbes).  25+ hrs into the game now gone because of this glitch. 

Any word as to whether a fix for this is to be included in the patch?  Really disappointing to get that far only to have your entire game wiped out due to a bug. 

Only difference in what I'm experiencing  is the "trail" is now just a golden glow a few feet away from the chest itself.  Nothing I do has any effect and the glow never moves.
