I moved Lady Grey into the "Death Factory" home in Bloodstone. She complained constantly about the home, along with our daughter. So I moved her to Bloodstone mansion. I tried to go back to Death Factory to rent it out but it acts as if its still our marital home. The value for upkeep is now default at zero though. I then proceeded to bring her to Fairfax Castle and make that our marital home, hoping it would rectify the situation but now Bloodstone Mansion also now is a ghost marital home. I cant rent either home out and both values are default at zero, with the option for redecorate mode. Has anyone else experienced this? I have the latest patch (as of 1/13/09) and have completed the main story line obviously. HELP!

EDIT: I should add I am a bigamist and have multiple wives and had no problem changing any of my other wives/homes.

The same thing happened to me except I moved her from the Luminous Lodge in Bowerstone to a house with a better rating up the street near the exit to Fairfax Gardens.

I too went back to the first home to set it to rent and discovered a ghost marital home.

More than a little ticked off about this. There's no way I'm going to lose two homes to move her to Fairfax gardens and be out gold.

Try selling the location, then buying it back.  Also when selling it since the furniture glitch was fixed find worn furniture to remodel it into the house to reduce it's price.  So when you buy it back you wont be out so much cash.

Houses that Lady Grey has lived in do not have the sell option.  The only options available are "Enter Redecorate Mode" and "Set Budget".  Redecorating doesn't help.  We cannot sell the homes, rent them out, or use them as marital homes, and Lady Grey doesn't recognize these houses as her's once you've moved her to a new one.  They're pretty much useless aside from being a place to crash for a bit.

So far, one house in Bowerstone Marketplace is bugged, as well as Serentiy Farm, and Brightwood Tower.  I finally installed her and family into Fairfax Castle, but would like to put some of my more high class wives into some of these places that are bugged.

Is Lionhead working on a solution for this?  I hope so, I absolutely love the game!

Im sure fairfax is bugged too, lady gray seems to disapear but still update things like gifts and happyness and still takes gold.

It's not just Lady Grey. It's happened to me a few times with regular NPCs.

This Happened to me so i Made Lady Grey Divorce me because i couldn't kill her and it stayed un-changeable to it really pissed me of because i play a pirate and Stuff and Bloodstone Mansions my favourite home so i hope hope hope Lion-Head trys to clear this glitch.

Yeah she has disappeared on me in the castle. It seems like alot of people have complained about this being fixed or not. Is it or is it Lionhead doesn't care? If they don't care post it and then people can move on.

This glitch can happen with any wife if you give them a second ring after your already married, there is no fix for the already triggered glitch, but this will help you avoid it in the future.
