    Re: End boss waaaaaaaay to easy?

    Fable ones boss fight was far from hard but still required a bit of skill to defeat.

    I think regarding Lucien he may still be alive, if you look down to where he fell it's only a small drop and is water.

    And anyway your a godly Hero and old and half insane maniac isnt going to put up much of a fight.

    Matty's post basically sums it up, it was a cutscene and i don't think it was intended to be an epic battle it's just a bullet and you have your revenge . . .

    First of all don't you think you should have a big spoiler sign in the thread you've just ruined it for new playersAngry [:@]

    It was obviously too easy, I don't think he' dead at all yet that fall didn't seem that deep Theresa probably saved him remember she's E v i l [Evil]!

    The Great Shard was the final boss, not Lucien.

    I don't think any one cares if we have ruined anyones game, they should be more careful.

    Seriously i never understood the spoiler thing, the ending was obvious from the first ten minutes in game, apart from Theresa's final comment . . .

    Lucien's head flew off in my game, so he is very dead. And I have my doubts that Theresa is truly E v i l [Evil] since Rose tells you to trust her.

    You actually decapitated him? Iv'e tried shooting him in the head and he just grabs his chest and falls down?

    Theresa is definatly bad theres so many clues in the game like when she says she needs to find a reason for Hammer to fight and then her father dies . . .

    And at the start of the game how did Lucien no about the music box Theresa was the only one who knew it was magic.

    And finally when your ambushed on Hero hill Lucien says he "merely listened" when asked where Theresa has gone.

    Anyone who reads a thread called "End boss waaaaaaay to easy?" and doesn't expect to see spoilers would have to be brain dead.

    The words "End boss" should have been spoiler warning enough.

    Anyhow, Lucian wasn't really an 'end boss' so much as an 'end wuss'.  Wink [;)]

    I also read somewhere that supposedly Theresa's skin tone gets grayer as the story progresses, just as Sparrow's skin color darkens if you choose the E v i l [Evil] path. So yeah Theresa is propably E v i l [Evil]. Hopefully we'll learn more with See the Future.

    Him = Sad little human.

    You = Saviour of Albion.

    I think it was unexpected and fitting. I felt kind of smug being like "Just shut up" and shooting him. To my surprise, off he falls, and I'm thinking "OMG did I just kill him?!"

    I mean, in what other game can you shoot the bad guy in the face while he's giving his final, "I'll destory everything" speach.

    Granted, a fight would be nice. The trolls only test my patience, as I have to wait for them to stop hitting the ground X amount of times. They are rather repetitive of a spiecies. Guess that's why there's only a few =X

    Remember Dash? The guy you chased around Rookridge only to kill him with one shot while your dog was annoying him? Yeah, I don't think Lionhead really gave a shat about boss fights in Fable 2, as they're pretty much non-existent. The closest things to bosses we get are the trolls which are just glorified mobs. Remember, people: life-sim with action-rpg elements, not the other way around. T___T

    Im going to go try that. lol

    But honestly i would have been satisfied with just putting a bullet in his chest only if there wansnt so much of that through out the game.  As for a final boss i think theresa in a DLC will it.  SHE STOLE MY SPIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    as for that, the toughest bosses in the game were Chesty, trolls and the commandant.

    Lucian wasn't really the end boss you know?

    It's either the Great Shard, OR a REAL end boss that should come in a DLC...

    Re: End boss waaaaaaaay to easy?

    I don't think Theresa is truly E v i l [Evil], just manipulative, she's a seeress after all, and if she sees the end of the world, and to save it she has to double-cross someone to make them stop it, she's justified.

    Just think, if she'd supported Roses theory that the magic box was crap, Lucien would have carried on, made the Spire, and remade the world, all because the Hero had no desire for revenge and no Training/Will.

    if anyone's read the Robin Hobb books, they'll understand what I mean when I draw comparison between Theresa and the White Prophet, always having to manipulate others for better or worse to ensure the world improves.

    Though i wouldn't mind her being an insanely hard boss in the last planned Fable for eventually becoming truly E v i l [Evil] and manipulating the world to alter her prophecies to benefit only her.

    And yes there's at least one more Fable planned, Johnathan Ross said on his Twitter he'd just recorded some voice tracks for Fable 3. http://twitter.com/Wossy/status/1308386483
