Keep your glitches coming folks. I just wish a LH team member would acknowledge some if not all of the problems listed in this thread. This is kinda ridiculous that this many of us are still having problems, and this isn't even counting the folks who are willing to overlook many of the aformentioned issues. I can overlook some things to if it doesn't hurt my overall game experience, but sadly the problems I'm having have all but ruined it.Sad [:(]

Yanno what When I buy myself a martial home and I shoot my own windows I get fine for vandalism. Getting fined for destroying your own property is INSANE lol.

But I wonder does Lionhead actually read the fanbase's problems and make it a first priority to fix? The only released one update after the release of the game right?

    Re: how about an update/patch?

First off, let me say that despite all of this game's problems, I think it's great. I am not trying to complain by posting the following list of bugs, and am only trying to help Lionhead fix what is one of the funnest series that I've ever played. That said, these are the bugs that I've encountered so far, of the ones that I remember, anyway:

    -People carrying furniture.

-The rare freeze that requires restarting the game, despite that the disc is not scratched and in perfect condition. The system is also in perfect condition: I clean it reguarly, it has always been handled very carefully, and I never allow it to become too hot. The game has only freezed one or two times, but I've never experienced freezing on any of my other game systems and with any other game that is in perfect condition, except for Fable I, which also freezed a few times on the original XBox despite that both the game and the XBox were in perfect condition. The rare freeze seems to be a pecurality of the Fable series.

-There is an extreme amount of lag, and I have never played a game with so much lag, not even a MMORPG. Even going through the Menu is a chore, nevermind walking through towns with lots of people. Sometimes, characters won't even load, even after a long time. You can tell that they're supposed to be there, because a heart may be above their head, despite that the rest of their body is invisible.

-In the Regions section of the Menu, when I move through the list of regions, Bowerstone Market will not display the correct number of stars for its region. Instead, it shows the number of stars for either the region listed before or after it, depending on whether you select Bowerstone Market by moving down or up on the list. I am certain of this bug because the stars for Bowerstone Market will actively change as you move up and down the list, going from, say, two to three stars despite that I've never closed the menu.

-One of the houses in Oakfield doesn't display a deed above the sign after you've bought the house. Resetting the game does not fix this problem, and the deed has never appeared. I'm wondering if the deed is hidden in the house's roof, as the roof covers the spot directly over the sign.

-I had a son for a long time, but I noticed that he was particularly difficult to keep happy, and it was affecting my relationship with my wife. Maybe this was part of his personality, I'm not sure, but it was very annoying. Everyone else in my families have always been so much easier to please. However, that isn't what concerns me, and I don't consider his grumpiness to be a bug -- Though, I do wonder. After a while, my son went mute and would no longer respond to my attempts to please him no matter how hard I tried and even after I reset the game. His character was clearly "broken" and stayed that way. All the while that this bug was occurring, his happiness was dropping and I could do nothing about it. Eventually, he ran away and I had to try to rescue him from the Hobbes. However, when I went to the Hobbe Cave, his character would not follow me out of the cave after I rescued him, due to his character being "broken" and unresponsive. This caused me to permanently lose my son and he became a Hobbe.

-My dog has been transformed into a husky via a potion, however, he usually doesn't have the correct coloration. When I first transformed my dog into a husky, I was disappointed to find that he was completely white and didn't look like a husky except for having pointed ears and a wolf-like body. Because I never had seen him with the correct husky coloration, I assumed that this solid white coloring was normal. After a long time, I noticed that my dog would sometimes flash as black and white, instead of simply solid white. The black and white was in the normal husky fur color pattern, so this made me happy -- For a few seconds at least, as my dog would return to solid white. This black and white coloration would only appear for a few seconds after I first woke up from sleeping in a bed. Sometimes, the black and white coloration would appear for a few seconds at random. My dog now finally remains black and white, but I'm concerned that he will return to solid white again. It would be very disappointing if a patch was not released to fix this particular problem, and since the See the Future DLC was released not that long ago, I don't see why Lionhead cannot make amends concerning this specific bug. I'd really like my dog to remain a normal looking husky, especially since that's part of the reason that I bought the DLC in the first place.

-In the Colosseum, after I equipped the Scepter, my character fell through the floor and started flying all over the screen. After I regained control of my character, he continuously had a thick black line from his head to the top of the screen that would not go away until I reset the game. Before resetting the game, I tried to reequip him with the Master Katana, but it only showed the Master Katana on his back, and the Scepter was still in his hand, except that the Scepter -- Which is supposed to be a slow weapon -- moved quickly like the Master Katana would. Even after I reset the game, my character was still holding the Scepter with the Master Katana on his back. I had to reequip him with the Master Cleaver before the Scepter would disappear, and there would not be two weapons on him at the same time.

-Another problem that I've experienced in the Colosseum is during battle when the Banshee is supposed to appear. Several times, the Banshee has failed to appear, and the clock will continue to tick by while no enemies ever appear on the screen -- And a lot of time could still be on the clock. Once the clock reaches zero, the game will proceed to normally end the battle and show me my scores. This is a problem because not only am I prevented from advancing any further in the Colosseum battle, but the bug has been adversely affecting my overall scores and making them lower than they would have been if the battle had only functioned correctly.

If there has been anymore bugs, I can't remember them at the moment. Probably something to do with visuals, but, like I said, I can't recall details off the top of my head.

I hope that Lionhead takes our posts into serious consideration, and releases a patch to fix most if not all of the problems that people have been experiencing, or at least the worst of the problems. While the game might be "past its prime", as someone else in this thread has said, it would strongly benefit Lionhead's future to build trust in its company by providing G o o d [Good] support for all of its products, even the older ones. Fable II still isn't that old -- Only 8 months since its release date in North America on October 21, 2008 -- and new DLC has been recently released for it. I don't think that another patch would be unreasonable to expect at this point, especially since the DLC costs money.

That said, I would like to thank Lionhead for all of their hard work on Fable II -- In case they ever read this post. While there are many bugs that when added together strongly detract from the overall enjoyment of the game, Fable II is still a solid and great game. I just hope that they take all the time that they need on Fable III before releasing it, as I would be disappointed to have to play another Fable with this many bugs. I would much rather buy a game at a later date that has been thoroughly tested than to buy a game at an earlier date that is full of bugs.

this glitch that i am seeing here is happening all too often where your hero will be running doing what ever, and his back will jump up and down, some times with his neck moving the right way, some times its not and it just streches all out .

its really annoying as it always happens when teh hero is running.

    Re: how about an update/patch?

I had wondered if that was what was happening, though, it still doesn't explain why my dog would randomly flash black and white for a few seconds and then return to solid white. I'm pretty sure that's a bug at least. Thanks for the information.

    Re: how about an update/patch?

I don't know if this is a glitch or not but I had first moved Lady Grey into Fairfax Castle and for whatever reason she couldn't have kids so I moved her into Serenity Farm where she had a couple. When I went back to Fairfax I couldn't set it as my marital house. Did I mess up by moving out or is it a glitch. And before I am asked no I have only married Lady Grey and never lived in the castle prior to moving her into it with me. Thank you for your time.

I believe that they should add another DLC to Fable 2!! More clothes, as in ones that you can attach augments and hoods that can be put up or down or clothes that come from far off lands! Also Samarkand and the Monk's temple in the North.

    Re: how about an update/patch?

well that would be an excuse for them to give us some patches/updates.

and in ether area they could bring back the long bows, sidpite what any one may think, i would say a bow is better, its silent, longer range for the most part, and no missfire Stick out tongue [:P]

but any ways, they could then also fix up some of the other problems that we have not yet listed in here.

    Re: how about an update/patch?

I thought that this was pretty cool, but my character now has a halo while simultaneously having horns and an E v i l [Evil] complexion. In reality, he is only a little E v i l [Evil], and barely to the left on the alignment scale while his corruption is maxed out. His alignment is listed as The Demon.

I haven't tried resetting the game to see if that fixes the problem, and I'm almost hesitant to lose the strange combination. I have never encountered this bug before. It seems like after I downloaded the DLC, Knothole Island and See the Future, all kinds of new bugs have been popping up and the game is just overall more buggy. And to top things off, there's even more lag than before by a painful increase.

Another bug that I've noticed and just recently remembered is the Knothole Fist icon that is supposed to only appear on Knothole Island exclusive items. The icon has been appearing on all types of furniture and not just Knothole Island exclusive content. Resetting the game has not fixed this bug, and it's sorely apparent, as it appears on all the furniture items and not just a few of them.

I've also noticed that not only do people often fail to load, but entire sections of a town, like a staircase, have never functioned correctly. The furniture in my house, likewise, may take a very long time to appear, and I don't mean after just a few minutes. It's strange to walk around for such a long time and have so much vital imagery completely absent from the game.

"Love Hurts" quest bug.  Head is still in inventory just in case a fix comes.  Saddest piece of developer insight I've ever seen reading this and some of the other bug-posts.  If we hit their pocket-books I bet they'd change it, but instead we've only fattened it by purchasing a buggy game.

    Re: how about an update/patch?

ok here are some more bugs that i have noticed.

Hero can be running at full speed right into an NPC, be it a running or walking one, adult or child, the NPC will STOP you dead in your tracks as if you ran right into the wall of a building.

next is that NPCs can move thru closed doors and what not, i have hidden behind a door/gate only to have the NPC *bandit* hit me THRU a gate *bandit gate at bower lake*

the DAMNED dog entering some buildings is getting really REALLY annoying as he is able to block and push you where you can NOT push him, add in that he will stay very VERY close to your legs 90% of the time

there is also a problem with the shopkeepers actually showing up at the shops ether on time, or at all, i have fast traveled to bower market only to find that 1/2 of the shop keepers *potion* are not in the shops when they should be.

there is also the bounty hunter guards, all TOO often they will walk OUT SIDE of the town or some thing preventing you from getting the quest/job or getting the reward for it.

    thats it for now

    An update on this problem.

Even after resetting my game over and over, my character sometimes still appears with a halo and horns simultaneously, and at the moment the strange visual has yet to go away at all. It's gotten to be frustrating, because I don't even like the halo, and don't want it on my character. It doesn't matter how E v i l [Evil] he is, the halo remains.

While at first it was kinda cool solely for the strangeness of it, now it's just sad. I really like this game, and it's a shame that it's plagued with so many bugs.

I'm hesitant to buy anymore DLC until Lionhead releases a patch to fix the worst of these problems. I don't want my game to stop working completely. The issues that people have been experiencing are prominent and seriously detract from the enjoyment of the game. Some people can't even play their saves at all after downloading the DLC, and I may join them soon. The bugs have just been adding up after downloading the DLC, and the issues have accumulated to the point that my game is screwing up worse than ever and I can't play properly. For example, my character flying around for no reason is stopping me from playing at times, and some of the items cause the game to seriously screw up.

i think that the halo is part of your purity, i could be wrong on that.

so if your sleeping around, doing bad but not E v i l [Evil] things like eating meats and things that are corrupt, hell have 2+ wives in the same town and mkae sure that they meet up, find you having sex with the other one or just cheat on her and letting her find out.

or what ever floats your boat

this is one that is more confusing than any thing.

every now and again, some of my heroes have gotten 30 - 60 G o o d [Good] points out of nowhere, i have owned every house etc, but the rent/prices were never changed, if that has any thing to do with it.

i had even just killed some thing like 20 + traders in bright wood and then i got 50 G o o d [Good] points @_@

at that time i did NOT own any buildings save for the one that you get at the start of the game.

One thing that majorly bugs me above all else, is when you put either the Noble gents coat or the highwaymans coat on, sometimes the coat jitters on your character when you move around, it makes the game look really tacky, and ruins it for me.

not sure if this is a bug, but also, whenever you swing your sword, if you are wearing a hat (highwaymans and noble gents again, seems to be that these are repeat offenders, concerning the name category, noble and highwayman) they spin around and sometimes jitter about too.

    yeah thats a bug/glitch.

there are times that the tops of some hats will phase thru the heros head making you see his/her hair, funny thing thou, if you have a hat on and have like say the ponytail hair cut, you really dont see the tail.

    Re: how about an update/patch?

ok here are 2 more problems.

1: you ask any NPC to follow you to bed, by ether them asking you and using what ever expreshion to agree or you just ask them your self.

if you move too fast for them to catch up to you, lets say the NPC is down stairs and you get to the bed and go to have sex, if they are too far from you it is treated as if you were in bed with some one else and who ever just watched you and the person having sex and seeing you as +25 to ugly.

its more of an annoyance than a real problem but its still there.

2: you can bump an NPC off the steps to a house and they will fall off and then walk into the floor as if the house floor was on the same level of the street or some thing.

this can be very annoying as you have to reload the area to get the person back to where they were inorder to interact with them
