you can also become Lady Grey's pet Hero, if she likes you enough to start gifting, she occasionally gives the Solus, as well as elixirs of life. of course, this can take a while and you might just want to buy it outright by using a few marketing tricks, like buying the merchant's diamonds and selling them back at a profit, collecting rental money, etc.

It's too >_> It's better than all the other legendary weapons and even better than the sword of aeons <_< Anyways yeah, you can buy it in bowerstone north for about 70k. If you don't have that much. Just buy the diamonds he sells (or w/e gem in large quantities) and resell it a few times. Anyways, gl

Thats a shame thought that the best sword in the entire game have to be buyed or given from Grey when you marry her.... I mean, cmon Lionhead, could you come up with something more, shall we say, sophisticated? But now it already too late, Fable 2 is here, with DLC and a sequel on the horizont, but still that was lame as heck. They should switch solus with hardbringer, that way it would be . But still, old news......

I'm not gonna lie, Solus' Greatsword was the best and yet the worst thing to ever happen to me in TLC. I mean, it was uber pwnage, bet I mean seriously, I cast away the Sword of Aeons, was found pure enough for the Tear of Avo (hated the augments in that), and then for a measly 82,000 gold I got a sword which owned all of them. I was disappoint.

Well if u had the pc version the sword of Aeons did like 500 damage or something like that and it was the best weapon. for xbox the solus greatsword was the strongest, but it comes at a price "SPEED". It is very slow to attack...so what I did is have berserker all the way and you swing the sword around like its a twig lol

I used the Avo's Tear/ Sword of Aeons as a change from the Solus to slash faster, or when I did a "low Strength" character who used mainly magic or bows.

euhm yh solus + multi strike is pretty ownage.

but i am mostly skilless so i mostly use AT or SoA.
