So today is Xbox LIVE maintenace day, so I thought, why not play some Fable 2? If i cant play matchmaking for other games, I might as well play by my self. Well, turns out, I cant. Before people start yelling at me, it is the SAME harddrive that i Downloaded the DLC to orginally and the same xbox. So, what gives? Why cant I get on??

You aren't alone. I tried playing some games on maintenace day. Either the game didn't respond or a screen appeared that displayed:
*Connect to Xbox LIVE
*Continue Play Offline
On some games chosing Continue Play Offline would send me back to the Dashboard. When the screen didn't appear at all it was either black screen or return to the dashboard. There were a handful of games that did manage to work, but I couldn't get Fable II to. Mostly the games that didn't have anything to do with online were working such as Oblivion, Mass Effect, and Assassin's Creed, ect did work for me.
