There's alot of rumors about Fable 3 being in the works going around. The games obviously going to happen eventually. Personally I loved Fable 1, but Fable 2 was just trash. The game was fun when I first got it, but got boring fast. The game mechanics were great, but alot of people argue that a game can have a terrible story and game mechanics and still be a game. Well they're wrong. If the all the Final Fantasy games had bad stories then no one would play them. If a story is enough then even the most frustrating game mechanics can withstood by the player.

This game has the making of a game, but fails to deliver in the story department. It borrows several plot devices from Fable 1, and gives you no closure. The expansions are short and expensive for what you get. Infact I think the Limited Edition Content was better then either of the expansions. Really theres no difference between 560 MS and 800 MS. Unless you have pre-existing MS Points you have to purchase 1000 MS to get them.

I'm really not holding high expectations for Fable III after what happened with Fable II. The fact that they are rumored to be already in development means that we might not get a 3rd DLC for Fable II and they are just going to leave the game broken. Don't fool yourself Fable II is a broken game in one way or another. My point is that unless Lionhead puts out some better content for Fable 2. There are going to be alot of people who dont buy Fable 3. So with that said, we need to boycott Fable III until they put out more content for Fable 2.

The last DLC was a nice big middle finger to the face, basically saying we're not going give you closure until the third game. They will probably do the same in the third game as well. So Fable 2 needs some story closure, and for god sakes put an actual Final Boss in the game.

Fable II has been tremendously successful and Fable III will sell even more.

Well have fun playing Fable while we all enjoy all the new wonders Fable III has to offer. I think Fable III will be even better then Fable II.  (I personally think they did an awsome job on Fable II and it will be hard to top but they will do it.)

I didn't play to many Xbox games to begin with, I play Fable I TLC and enjoyed it. My wife bought me Fable II, I thought it was going to be boring. After playing Fable II for awhile it got interesting to play even after you complete the main story line. Take alook around the this forum there's a whole lot of things to do. Fable II Who will you become? That says it all. I suggest you go back and play a different character or bad and watch how different the game is. Please do not think just because you thought it got boring after a while and post in this forum that we should boycott Fable III. If and when it comes out I will be one of the first ones to be line to purchase it. Like Suzanne said you won't get any sympathy from this forum. As for the price of the DLC's it is a far price considering that my other hobby flying on flight simulator and the cost of it's addons I think it is cheaper.

The only game I am not buying is L4D2, oh and FF is trash, I want a game for gameplay, if I want a story I will read a book. And FFs story is garbage too, I hate everything about the games.

I love FF and Fable I and II. Actually im a very fussy gamer and only love a few games but all these are great! Less storyline because this game is built around you and your quests. FF was made for a longer storyline.

I'd agree with everyone except the guy that thinks fable 2 is bad, stop whining about the no final boss fight pay attention to the damn story so you can see why just shooting lucien in the face was the perfect ending to a unique story.
Threatening to boycott the third installment of the game that won many game of the year awards and many more best rpg game awards is just gonna make you look like a prissy girl. If you want a story yes indeed read a book or pay more attention to the damn story you are playing to see how it is.

I will get all the info I can and wait until the game is out for at least a mounth to see what poeple really think of it before maybe considering buying it, but seriously, I don't think I'll buy it, it's clear that Lionhead doesn't have what it takes to make the games they're thinking and talking about.

you're not going to get that far with this.you're right, there still needs to be soem closure before the third game, but the third game probably won't be coming out for at least four years or so, and i'd be willing to bet for a third DLC sometime this year.the 2nd dlc gave a bit of closure but just to the game itself, and raised more questions to.The story was though, it just wasn't long and that was because the DLC's were supposed to be like continuations of the story.

i loved the first fable...it was very unique...it stand above other rpg during that time...i still play it more than fable 2.....fable 2 was okay..the dlc was okay for what i paid..i'm actually one of the few people who loved KHI.....i love being there ....

but it didn't have many features that PM talked about that i was excited about, mainly the dynamic weather....it is all static....it never changes....it gets very dull after beating the game....the gameplay is very simple...now now...i don't want a figthing system like mortal kombat but please just be a little bit creative when it comes to gameplay....storyline not so creative...and the game being too shorts....

too many glitches...enemy A.I pretty stupid.... but i'm not here complaining rather stating what everybody has said before in other threads which i happen to agree but i would not say that is a bad game....

but like somebody here already said...i'm gonna wait two weeks after fable 3 comes out to see if it's better than fable 1... but stop the dumb ass threads about fable 2 being a horrible game or making boycotts....what are you 12 yrs old...because a 12 year old shouldn't be playing this game...

Why would you even want to boycott?
This is the dumbest thing in the world.
Lets say your boycott was successful, it won't be, but lets just say the impossible happens...do you just say, "Yay!" and go play FF more?
