The time has come for action and for those who love fable to rise up against those they follow...yes im talking about a petition to make Fable 3 bigger (more regions...bigger plces...hundreds more quests), Badder (more choices that actually mean something.... is really ... is really sort of thing) and all round better!!!

Fable 2 consists of 24 core quests and 36 sub quests (including DLC) but we want more!!! How about 100 core quests!! and 100 subquests!! and thats at the least!! LIONHEAD CAN DO IT!!

Theres around about 16 regions including DLC but how about we increase that to 30!! and make each of them 5 times bigger!!! scattered with caves that might not even mean anything but they are there!!

There are 9 types of melee weapon including the child series and legendary but surely we can have more than that!! adding up the total amount of weapons (not including DLC) is 37!! and most of them are no !!

There are 12 different types of ranged weaponry including the child series and legendary but we can do more! altogether (not including DLC) there are 45 weapons...but once again once we get to the legendary and master ones the other 30 are usless to us...we need more!!

Same goes with clothing there 21 different outfits (not including DLC)available but we need more loads more!

This is in no way meant to be offensive towards Fable in any way whatsoever it is merely a thread for people who believe lionhead have the capability to achieve this!! Im sure most people will want this!

and if enough people sign this and agree then perhaps lionhead will see it and take into consideration ow massive fable could be!! the possibilities are endless when it comes to fable!!

well i agree, i dont see how this thread is any different than threas about ideas for DLC so i dont see what your problem is Shisou, ill admit ive made some pointless threads (which im trying to make up for) but if he wants to get a petition for fable 3 being to the best of its abilitys, and LH sees that we know they can do it and we support them full heartedly then it could give them the boost of confidence they need from thefans and the community to make it alll it can be =) so yeah sign me up!!

Boy, are you on crack or what. Sure, YOU and everyone looking forward to fable 3 wants a ****load more content, but its really not in the interests of Lionhead to spend so much extra time making a game that will turn out relatively the same amount of profit. Plus, listen to yourself!

Drawing up petitions doesnt really work in every scenario, plus most petitions need thousands upon thousands of credible signatures to actually matter.
The fact is lionhead will make the game how they want too, consumer ideas and wants may change/add a few things if lionhead likes the ideas.


While many people hope Fable 3, (which wont be out for a while don't get too excited, im still gouging my eyes out waiting for Diablo 3), will be some spectacular face melting GOD of a video game, as do i, we all know not everyone will be pleased. No matter what it is, someone's gonna say they didnt like the particular design layout of the floor tiles in a certain house... just to complain.

The next number in a sequence is more of value...for example 1+5=6, basically 6 is greater than 1 and 5 because it is the next number in a sequence.
If Fable III exists then it is of greater value than Fable II. So I don't think a petition really needs to go in the works.
With newer technology, simply look at NATAL or the future of a new Xbox system. With these new innovations and technological advancements, chances are greater in value of the game being better than its predecessors. A petition would be for something such as, "Direction and Demand." unless you really feel strongly about this, continuing with this, would require a lot of devotion and hours of cataloging signatures and votes...but if that's how you feel.

now in most cercumstances that is true, in the Gaming world that is not true like 80% of the time

I would like to see Fable 3 take place between 1 and 2... at the height of the hero's!!

give the map the detail that Elder Scrolls 2 had ( that series went down hill a bit)

maybe they could make Fable 3 in the style of a MMO with out the Massively part!!

and here is where the whole world has gone down the toilet... the point of a sequel is to make it better?

no its to continue a story weather this be a consecutive story or a kind of history... if lionhead have no more interesting story's or ideas to implement they should stop, they should not try to one up there previous game purely for the sake of it. this is where we are heading and everyone is fine with it they want every thing bigger better and now just for the sake of it...a persons greatest achievement is usually not there last.

a sequel should improve on its predecessor but that should not be its sole purpose.

i think they have a fine number of regions...more is not nesisarily better. if lionhead want to do the next fable well, it should be about detail, if they made only 3 regions say bowerstone, great wood and darkwood but bowerstone was the size of liberty city in GTA...that would be fine, there could be bowerstone poor, market, fairfax gardens, docks, sewers, different districts run by different people. i don't think they should be quite so extreme as this but more regions usually means less detail i would prefer to have an amazing story taking place only in a few areas that have some real depth to them, that take a while to explore and find the secrets in, that change in interesting ways so every street can become dilapidated or rich.

oblivion was way bigger than morrowind but it was empty comparitivly, bland and although there were hundreds of dungeons they were boring and repetitive. quality over quantity.
and if lionhead feel they have a big enough and motivated enough team to make 30 areas in amazing detail then they should do it, but i dont want them to stretch themselves to thin.
