Foil:So the desciples will stay at their jobs even if u make huge army's?
The disciples will stick with their work, and miss the free time period at the end of the day, working until it's time to sleep. They are not classed as available men to form platoons, no. So they won't enter the tents.
I think the OP's problem was probably old age. Having enough men to form a platoon is great but if they're old timers they're pretty much useless and slow, it's rest home time for them, or
sacrifice time, if you're playing

I tend to keep a small town purely for breeding when I'm playing, then I use the Multiple Grab to transfer them to a new town. Or, pick up all the villagers nearing old age, make a platoon, and then disband it instantly, all the free men from the platoon will be twenty years old again. Young and fresh Disciple Breeders.
