I've been looking for a Maelstrom for a while now. For one, I've both destroyed the quest and for two, I don't want my character to do anything .

So, I've got about having it traded to my character instead.

However, nobody in the "Fable II Online" section of the forum seems to want to trade one, or nobody owns one. Are they that valueable? That might sound odd considering it's a Ledgendary Weapon, but people sell Hammethysts, Daichis and Red Dragons by the motherload.

I've asked tons of people randomly, too. Messaged around fourty people (I wish I was exaggerating by the way), and none seem to have one. Nobody has told me "I'm not selling it", it's more a matter of "No".

So I ask, is there something I'm missing here?

From a certain standpoint, getting a Maelstrom is more work than the others, and you have a limited time frame on acquiring it. Picking up a Daichi is as simple as running through a few lightweight puzzles, the Hammerthyst can be had for one "Blow Kiss" expression, and the Red Dragon can be won at any time after Westcliff opens up. The Maelstrom, on the other hand, requires you to go back and forth to the Temple a few times in order to sacrifice enough victims, and that's just to get the option to make another sacrifice at the right time in order to acquire.

Most people won't use it, since it's not the most powerful weapon, and they're more likely to save the Temple of Light. Thus, it's more rare than the others.

I gotta say the Maelstrom has gotta be my favorite sword in the game, it is baddass!! If you wanna keep your guy then why do you want an weapon? I'm on from time to time so if you see me online I'll dupe one for ya.
