    Storyline - Objectives

Stumbled across an interview with Peter Molyneux about Milo and Kate. What I found interesting was when he stated "there's an amazing story" and "there will be moments in the story that feel like the end of chapters".

This may well have already been done but I was just wondering what everyone thinks would be a G o o d [Good] storyline for this game, how it would make it interesting as opposed to just an ongoing conversation. There was no confirmation of an ending to the storyline but what would be a G o o d [Good] ending to a game like this ?

Hopefully milo will tell us he has aids or cancer or something, then in the final sequence of the game he's in his hospital bed and he's bald and we get to experience all this as we're prompted to hold our arms out to hold milo and then watch as the light goes out in his eyes.  Now THAT is awesome. Unlikely though Tongue Tied [:S]

    Nah, this is better:

"Go stand on that hill over there!" Milo said "Its my school project."

    Walk.

"And go!" BOOM. You have to chuck Milos body in the river.

milo will have a decididly meh story as forgetable as any other in the histroy of tech demo's (yes milo is a tech demo) and will probly fail more so than any where else where it tries the hardest in making you feel for milo the restriction placed by microsofts attempts to realease this as a family game will preent any true story telling from coming out of this all the greatist storys have a healthy sprinkling of drugs sex violence and satire (all in the name of the wind Stick out tongue [:P]) none of witch seem particuly to gell with the image of milo we have been fed by the media so hyea its gonna suck *****Surprise [:O]

Have you got any reasons to believe that, or do you just want to join in on the "Milo sux" bandwagon?

Because I should warn you, that bandwagon is heading for the crazy house. We know virtually nothing about Milo, people saying that it'll be terrible (or that it'll be brilliant, even) for any reasons other than what we know about it are just moaning for no reason.

Stop turning every thread into one of your stupid "Everyone hates me!" attention seeking rants. You're trying to get sympathy and it's not working, you're just annoying people and making them hate you for real.
Stop trying to get attention and stop trying to get sympathy. You're making an embarrassment of yourself, even more so than your normally do.

    Re: Storyline - Objectives

Are you going to do this every time some one doesn't agree with you??, if so then people are just going to start completely ignoring your posts all together. You mentioned you was going to report Undead for disliking you, you can't report some one for that, I'm sure there's plenty of people on this forum who can't stand the very sight of my name or avatar but that doesn't warrant a report, if the person is singling you out with overly aggressive posts then that's bullying and then you can report them, just not for disliking you. I doubt that's the case here, no one is singling you out of bullying you from what I've seen there just wanting you to stop posting garbage and to stop crying about it every time you get checked.

OT: I doubt they'll be a real story, I think the game is supposed to be like a sandbox were you can play with 9 year old boys.... wait that didn't sound right.

If Adon and Sagat step in....ah, what the hell, I'll get drunk and join in on that one.

    Re: Storyline - Objectives

Well surely there must be some sort of storyline in there, without some sort of plot this game wouldn't appeal to the majority. I highly doubt it would involve death though, and I wouldn't really want it to....Tongue Tied [:S]
