dude i have the same thing i cant use my weapons and cant fast travelnot even in another location (wraithmarsh) do please help x.x

I've been reading through this thread and wow....i thought I was the only person screwed over by this glitch. unfortunately for me its in wraithmarsh at the demon door. I had a mob of Npc's with me and as soon as the scene started the mob started slowly pushing me downhill. now I'm stuck in a corner. can't move, use weapons,magic anything!. I can pet my dog and use LB. that's about it. PLEASE LIONHEAD, WE ALL NEED A FIX, ISNT THE THREAT OF MORE AND MORE PEOPLE LEAVING FABLE EVEN ENOUGH FOR A PATCH!.please we need one soon!!!

I am in a cave with the hooded lady doing a quest and i cant leave and when i try it just says wait till scene has ended..... but it has..... FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT!

Hmmm. hopefully someone hasn't stated this already, but I made an account just to try and help you guys out so please don't flame me! I typed out everything I did if you want to know the whole scenario, or just skip down to 3 for what I did as a solution!

1.)I had just completed the Crucible for a 2nd time with 8/8 (Not trying to brag lol bear with me :]) But when I went to click on the chest, got ported out, and froze on the spot.

2.)Speeding up so I won't bore you to death, I took another controller and logged in after I ported to Wraithmarsh. The 2nd player was stuck too but eventually came out (And Don't know why/how, just mashed buttons for a while) and was able to pull a few hollow men to attack me, didn't help.

3.)They slaughtered me and I was still stuck so I ported out of there and as soon as I got out I used the SPADE and now I can walk :]]

Everything seems fine now, I'm not a smart technical person so I don't know why or if this will work for anyone, but please let me know if it does

Just if anyone wants to know what my story is like (if for some reason it influences this) just ask!

My girlfriend encountered this same bug when playing with her offline profile (so Fable II was never updating).  I signed in with my online profile and let Fable II update, then switched back to her profile.  Problem solved!

the thing that really sucks about being glitched.....I PAID FOR THE DLC AND IM STILL GLITCHED!!!. I mean, yeah i didnt have to buy it, but i had forgotten my save was glitched. And i will not , I repeat, WILL NOT START A NEW GAME. I think that is ridiculous. Lionhead should make a skip scene option or something. I shouldnt have to start a new game to play, and get every thing i already obtained/achieved, and then play the new material. That would be assinine. So please Lionhead, Please make a fix soon. Worse comes to worst I end up calling the BBB. Doubt they can do much, but at least they listen!

Thats what happened to me too!! I really want a fix because this was the last door i need to open before the final door!! Plus i already finished the game, and dont want to redo everything!

I hope to God that Lionhead reads these forums and takes these issues seriously. Fable II is probably the glitchiest and most bug-filled game I've played on my 360. It's fun as hell, but this stuck in scene glitch is KILLING ME. I can't fast travel/run/attack/shoot/use magic. It happened to me a few days ago, couldn't find a fix so I started a new game and it happened again! Different place but same damn problem! I spent well over 25 hours on my first game and at least 10 on my most recent one. I thought I learned my lesson not to save and reload the glitched file after the first time but the autosave got me the second time. DAMN IT! This needs to be fixed.

I'm having the same problem except in the Town Square in Bowerstone. I went to talk to the bard now i'm stuck i'm a cut scene and can't do anything in the town because I'm moving slowly. Any news on a fix for this issue coming soon? Its stuffed up my whole game.

I am also experiencing this bug post-title update.  I accepted the first Normanomicon quest, then entered the cemetery.  I killed the first group of hollow men, then went up to the demon door and opened it.  Not thinking, I didn't read the text about losing progress and resetting, I just knew you had to press A to get in.  So I held down A, then the game reloaded to the point just after where I had aceepted the quest and just before entering the graveyard (the 2 mile, 1 hour thing was on the screen).  At this point, I can do nothing.  The glowing trail leads to the second group of hollow men.  They spawn when I get there, but don't attack and I can't attack them.  I can't cast spells, shoot, use the expression wheel, perform expression from the D-pad, or access the menu (to fast travel or see inventory, for example).  I walked to the next part of the main quest, but it didn't help.  I did some blacksmithing, no help.  Sleeping also didn't help. 

This makes me sad.  Unless I can get this game back somehow, there's no way I will be purchasing the DLC, even though I already have a fully developed character (this my second play-through). 

Not addressing game-ruining, time-wasting bug = lost revenue.  I hope they do, because I really liked this game and would like to leave it behind without a bitter taste in my mouth.

Thought I had figured a way around this.  The hollow men counter still comes up in the graveyard, so I spent a long time painstaking luring guards into killing all 100 for me.  This sucked, as the guards themselves suck and only seem to be able to attack once every 15 seconds or so.  Took 6-7 guards I would say.  I got the book, and I wasn't able to give it to Sam and Max until I loaded a new area and came back.  I felt sure that completing the quest would fix things.

It did not.

same goddamn thing to me, when I pulled the 12 followers to it, now I can't move at all, only pressing the start button but I can't teleport or something, Can't believe Lionhead just misseen this problem

I have a simlar problem, except that i cant even board the boat. Unfortunatly this is a glitch and you have to wait untill sometime this december for the fix.

I'm stuck in the Wraithmarsh Demon Door glitch too. I'm going for 100% of the achievements and I already have 64 of 66 achievements (Yes, that's right, I have BOTH DLCs) and when I was going to get "The Concierge" achievement from See The Future DLC, I got stuck in the Wraithmarsh Demon Door glitch. There's NO WAY I will start a new game, since I have more than 30 hours spent in the game. Now I'm stuck and it seems that I will never be able to get 100% of the achivements, despite my efforts to get 64 of the 66 possible achievements.

PLEASE LIONHEAD, FIX IT.

Everyone stuck with the specific wraithmarsh glitch with the demon door. I have found the solution. And I made a profile here so I could help you guys and not let those awsome heroes of yours die.

You need a second controller.

1. Bring in a second Hero (any).

2. Have them use the follow expression away from the main Hero

3. Your Hero should be brought with the followers. If not you should be able to walk to the demon door. use the follow expression a few more times this should drag your frozen hero to the door and the scene will continue.

Note: If the second hero is frozen as well mash a few buttons.

P.S. I found this by accident. I was pissed off horrifically and I thought I could KILL the followers (you can not by the way) and i just stumbled upon it.

Oh my god that worked. It took some aiming, but I ended up having to get the people surrounding my wife's character to push her close enough to the demon door for it to start with it's story. I'm sure it would have been easier if we hadn't dismissed and scared away most of her followers, but we managed to get her unglitched with only 4 merchants who wouldn't leave.

Obviously I'm playing this game much later than it was originally released, which makes it that much sadder that the game developers never got around to fixing this problem that has plagued many of your customer's, LIONHEAD.  Are you even listening?!?!?!  Some 3 months since the last report of this problem and still no updates on fixing the bug where you get stuck in a scene and can't do squat after having invested 30 hours into the game.  All I can do is press "A" to pause the game.  Can't draw weapon, gun, or spell.  can't access map and therefore can't fast travel.  Can't save, although why would I want to?  I'ts just the same scene no matter what I do.  Even the enemies don't dare fight me.  It's like a got a friggin scarlet letter on my back.


Boooo Lionhead.  Piss poor job of fixing problems or performing SW/patch updates.  I won't be purchasing Fable III because of this.  From this experience, IMO, you obviously don't care if your fans are having problems with the games your are selling and you seem content with putting out a crappy and flawed product.

Sadly I have to agree with Mesa13. I am stuck in Oakfield in scene mode. I can not fast travel anywhere because "the scene mode has not ended". I have tried the spade trick mentioned in some of the previous posts, but with no luck. Gonna give it a month.

So, is there any solution for this yet?
I dont have another Xbox controll, so i cant try that thing.

Im stuck in bloodstone and cant do anything.

I've been stuck here for the last 30 minutes. FINALLY able to get it fixed. I had received the quest from Raven and went down to the front of the city. There I picked up the T.O.B.Y. quest. It said I had to search a house around the corner. I went there and all of a sudden I could not do anything. Couldn't speak to anyone, draw weapon, sleep, you name it.

I ran back up to Raven's house. As soon as I ran in I tried to run into his study where he is standing. The door closed just in front of me and I overhead him killing someone.

I got some dialogue and all of a sudden now I'm able to do everything again!

The Same bullshit happend to me but i was at the part of fighting the great spire and as soon as the cut scene ended i realized i couldnt draw my weapons or use will. I was pissed. at first i thought it was part of the fight, i would just have to sit back and watch the other three heros fight but then after waiting an hour i realized that it couldnt be part of the fight. so i added the second controller in and beat it that way. well i thought it would finally let me draw my weapons well it didnt and now im still stuck at the same part of the game. The part where your on the farm with your sister and your a kid again so now im stuck and have no idea how to get out of it. im tempted to just start all the way f****ng over but i am so pissed that may be my only option. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

ok wow im deffinatly getting fed up with this piece of *** game. i re-started after having to deal with the stuck in scene bug and i was like ok well it shouldnt take to long to get back to where i was. well when i got to the Ritual quest and had to talk to the abbot what do ya fuckin know. it glitched yet again. so not only can i not do *** on my other game now i cant continue on this one so now when i get the motivation i have to start all the way fukin over. Shout out to lionhead WAY TO MAKE A FUCKIN SHITTY ASS FUCKIN GLITCHY GAME. Hopefully on fable three you get rid of these bugs because you guys really fucked up fable two. round of applause for lion head studios for doing a great job on such a game. wow you guys are . are you guys sure you even went to college for this *** because it dosent seem like it. next time make sure you have all the bugs out before you realse the ***. id rather wait for a game then to play a half assed glitchy one. i thought fable was like one of thee most bad-ass games until this *** happend. way ta fukin go lionhead.

Wow.  THis game has been out for how long now?  And you guys still haven't fixed what has amounted to a bug that keeps players from completing the game?  Have you guys even played the game?  Did anyone think to test it before release?

Thos were rhetorical questions.  Of cousre the answer is yes.  What is most disturbing is that Lionhead obviously doesn't give two shits about the quality of their product provided it doesn't affect sales.  Who would possibly have known about this problem prior to buying the game?  Only Lionhead would have known.  They also would have known that as long as nobody else knew about it, they would continue buying the game and no money need be wasted on the man hours required to fix this glitch.

So they swept it under the rug, sales wouldn't be affected and we could all eat *** and *** as much as we want after it happens.  But since we already bought the game, we represent no additional revenue for their company and therefore don't matter.

I defy Lionhead to prove me wrong.  The only way they could is to fix the damn thing, or send me a check for $60.  Also, admitting they're a bunch of assholes would help too.

 

Also, I won't be buying anything else from Lionhead.  If I so much as suspect that a game, or any other product for that matter, was even breathed on by a Lionhead employee, I will not consider purchasing it.  Even if it were a swimming pool and I was on fire.  In the unlikely event that I am lit on fire and there is a swimming pool nearby that Lionhead was involved in the manufacturing of in any capacity, I would assume that they filled it with gasoline rather than water.  And I'd be right.

I hope this illustrates my point.

Anyway, I got stuck in Bloodstone, during that Hero of Skill quest. A, B, X and Y buttons doesn't work. But if I go to Wraithmarsh, I can waive my sword like a feather-duster.

It's amazing that this bug has been around over a year now. Perhaps it's a tough one, but still - it should be fixed as soon as possible. Because who quarantees, that if I start a new game, it won't get stuck in the same town/quest...
