I'm having problems installing the game. Installation starts and after the first "bar" loads nothing happens.  (I'm using Windows 2000 professional.)  Help please!

Yes, I have but the same thing happened.
Actually I managed to get the game installed (and it worked) about 2 weeks ago but every time I wanted to start it, after restarting or shutting the computer down, it would crash. At the time I would reinstall the game and problem would solved.

Have you installed the 1.10 and 1.20 patches?  Those would certainly help with crashes.  And grief man, why are you still on that ancient operating system?
