fluKe:I don't tend to use forums for programming help. If I need to know something I tend to look up the documentation (online or otherwise, eg. MSDN) or ask someone around the office. When you are surrounded by people all writing in the same languages for the same systems as you it's a lot easier (and quicker) to bug one of them.
I don't tend to answer a lot of programming questions either because most programming questions require a decent answer and I just don't have the time to write one out as well as it should be written.
I do like the fact that these forums have a group of people who I know are
![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif)
at what they do and the advice here will generally be
![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif)
- if a little sarcastic from time to time :)
I'll just steal fluKes answer as it pretty much mirrors my own - only with better words.
I'd like to browser other developer forums, and perhaps when I start coding at home again I might find myself doing so. I find a lot of the time I can't be bothered to put much thought into reading someone elses code to figure out what it's doing though. Normally there is always someone else who is willing and can probably answer better than me anyways.
