Re: Obama is not the right man for president

I'll admit; I quit reading at the end of the first page. By then, the threadstarter has already shown a few somewhat hypocritical and incorrect statements. However, there's one thing I'd like to point out nonetheless...

    D4_D373RM1N470R:
i believe in my constitutional rights like every american citizen. but terrorists arent u.s. citizens if they came from the middle east with fals passports in order to kill americans. and bill clinton granted bill ayers a pardon after ayers went to jail. clinton pardoned a terrorist. a conservative believes in justice and would have kept him in jail. thats what i would have done.

Came from the Middle East with false passports? Hardly so, in most cases of the percieved "terrorists." Most of the "terrorists" in Guantanamo Bay were taken from other parts of the world on the suspicion of terrorism and were pretty much abducted and detained without a fair trial. There's more than one case in which innocents were abducted too. I seem to recall one time where a German civilian was abducted from Germany and only released months (if not years) later, when they discovered they had the wrong man.

Constiutional rights count for everybody. If that isn't the case, you've got a malfunctioning constitution. Guess what forms the base of a healthy Democracy, eh? Makes one think. Or at least, it should. Huh? [:^)]
