OOOOOOH Im just listening to it as I upload it to my iPod, and the harp-esque section at 1:24 is giving me chills down my spine. I love the brass parts too, I dont remember too much brass on the original games region tracks? and those strings sound menacing! I cant wait to buy the full soundtrack!

yea, I was thinking it could be Headman's Hill as well.  I just couldn't think of the name.    I kinda sounds like a death march at the end, like someone's being marched to the chopping block or something.
