Sorry to bump this topic up again from the past.

I do agree with the first post. I'm not entirly biased towards black people, but I do perfer white people as friends cuz most black can be rude and mean.

Wow, so you clearly have no idea what racism is then? Because if you did, you would realise what you have posted is in fact racist. How do you justify saying that "most blacks can be rude and mean" as if there are not white people who are rude and mean, or any other race who are rude and mean. Being rude and mean comes from the person, not the race. Disappointed [:isappoin]

As for heritage periods, they have been put in place to ensure that other cultures and histories are recognised. Because if they weren't put in place, only a small amount of people would ever learn or recognise other race's cultures and history. It is a way of making sure something is done like when someone writes something in a schedule book and books a date for it. It is a way of ensuring it gets done and is not put off through procrastination, being busy or other reasons.

The reason why these things are needed are highlighted by some of the posters in this discussion, the ones who believe they do not have racist views when they really do.

Yes there are some people who complain about racism for every little bad thing that happens to them. And you will find that they are in fact quite immature and don't really understand what racism means, but they in fact have something in common with some of the people on here who make sweeping racist generalisations and claim not to be racist because "they have a non-white friend". Both do not really understand what racism means.Disappointed [:isappoin]
