I was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem im haveing or at least tell me what it is thats causeing it.

I have black and white installed on my computer and for some reason in the first land right after the temple is built the screen freezes up and then it turns black. i have to exit because i cant get it to come back.

Also there is no detail in the temple everything is black except for the map and the lights.

i have windows xp and i have tried to play it both with the patches and without.

My cd is scratched in a few spots and i wasnt sure if that was it or not.

If anyone knows what might be wrong please let me know.
