You need the BoS to take back the Purifier from the Enclave which I'm sure you can't do by yourself and in Fable 2 if you didn't have those heros at least there may have been a boss fight. And if your saying giles farm had more impact then Megaton then you are dead wrong after Megaton is destroyed the world gets more dark and foggy because of the fallout showing that your actions do actually affect the world unlike Fable 2 were it will only affect that region or even a small part of it. And maybe the reason they came back was because the games take place in completely different states? That might be a big reason. Plus fable 2 also has some major plot holes like How is Tereasa back if you killed her in Fable 1? How come Jack of Blades isn't back if you decided to wear the mask? How did it take only one bullet to kill your sister but a bullet and a fall off a tower allow you to survive if you are both heros? And Aliens is just a fun little mystery not everything has to be explained to you.

That alien thing is just a fun little thing that is a story of its own when things are put into the main story then plot holes become relevant.

Lionhead didn't want to have to force a canon ending for Fable/TLC, and the technology to be able to import saves was (I do believe) only talked about at the time. So what they did was they set Fable 2 500 years in the future, a time where the events in the past would have been slightly vague. Also, after the Heroes were all killed and any of their records were burned, the events of that time were even more vague. Now the answer to your "How could the Hero survive while his sister didn't" question: The only answer I can think of is that since the Hero is the 4th Hero, or the Hero who can master all the virtues (strength, skill, and will), he is almost definitely stronger.

Now you may say, well that still doesn't explain why Jack couldn't be back since you could where his mask. Or Theresa can't just come back because the records were burned!

Answer to Jack of Blades: Jack was always known to disappear for years at a time, and then suddenly return. Jack may have left and hasn't returned yet, or just doesn't want to!

Answer to Theresa: To the extent of my knowledge it has never been 100% confirmed that the Theresa of Fable 2 is the Theresa of Fable, people have always just assumed that she is, which I think is kind of strange since Theresa in Fable 2 has eyes, where Theresa of Fable had them cut out. Another theory could be that Theresa found a way to come back, Jack did it twice! First when he was cast into the Void by the first Archon and second when the Hero of Fable kill him in the Guild and then he came back as a Dragon.

Yes but the thing is if you are able to master those skills then your sister should be able two and since she took more damage then you did she should have survived easily. Yes the records in the game was different but that's like saying that the game Fable never existed and the events that took place only maybe happened. And the reason your sister can live so long is because she is a will user and I believe that it is said some were that will users live longer which is a big difference then being nearly god like such as Jack of blades. And what better time to return then when a tower is being build that grants people a wish? I'm sure if he was still alive he would have come back at that time and taken everyone out and used the tower for himself.

Also I think the devs did confirm that the Teresa in Fable 2 is the same as Fable but I could be wrong.
