The tyrant seems to be a relative of Fairfax.  Like, you were too young to claim the throne yourself and you had no older siblings, so it went back to the heir of the previous ruler: Lucien's brother or whoever.  Just my opinion at the moment.

What if the Tyrant was your older sibling who offed your parents in order to gain control of the throne before he should have? It would be really odd having your sibling as the villain for a change as opposed to a helpful guide.

Anyways I still hold that it is the name of the planet/world, however the idea that it is the opposite of the Void is a very interesting concept...
