I am going to hit you once in the leg with a baseball bat.
I am going to hit you once in the leg with a frying pan.
I am going to jab at your leg once with a knife.
I am going to put a shotgun to your leg and pull the trigger.


Please oh please take your choice, in fact pick your favourite three....I'm guessing you wont want your leg ruined by that shotgun though....and there lies the difference.


Sure a baseball bat can kill someone, if I repeatedly hit them with it many times, or put alot of force into a few well placed hits.   Or I use it to nudge them off a cliff.   A gun can kill someone with a single gentle squeeze of the trigger.
