quaseman:For about 16 € this is a offer one can not refuse. Sometimes I wish, I was not so paranoid for having a credit card and totally refuse buying anything through digital distribution ... well no buy until it will be on the shelf than, maybe never ... when will developers learn?
But you can easily use paypal without a credit card ... ?
The only chance I see and I use, spending money over the Internet is by direct debit or direct bank transfer. With "direct" I mean without a third or even fourth party that know about my userdetails, like for example PayPal seems to be another dataminer. I think an Amazon account is more than enough already (and I constantly fear it being hacked). I don't need no PayPal, Ebay, or whatever to store sensible data of me.
In return to such an transaction, I also want something physical, maybe send by post ... call me antiquated, but I do not thrust the Internet.
Sell me a boxed game on a persistent data storage device or let it be! ![Dead [:notalive:]](/emoticons/dead.gif)
Everyone should boycott Ubisoft and their new Online DRM for PC games. This has gone too far in the reduction of the rights of users and I am sick of it! It is not made to fight piracy, but to control the customer.
