Also as well as the Level designers? If so if its the Animators then what degree would be best and what is a college in the UK or the US in your opinion?
Re: Who makes Cinematics?

some times it is, some times it isn't. There's no one answer for all.

To work with cinematics you'd be best concentrating on animation. There was a time when people did everything in house but it's becoming more common to out-source it to a specialist like Blur Studios. They did the cinematics for Fable 2, they also did the Dawn of War games and recently they did the trailer for the Old Republic MMO.

It sounds like you may be more interested in-game cutscenes.

Re: Who makes Cinematics?

Wow I literally thought it was the actual game company that makes them. Haha now I am wondering if I should fully do this or go into gaming animation and level design. Thanks Fablier
Re: Who makes Cinematics?

It sounds like working for a company like Blur is your long term goal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUkwiyuZnO4

Some studios make their cinematics in-house, Blizzard and Bungie are two that I can think of at the moment.

I don't know a lot about cinematic design but it seems like a New Media degree would prepare you for a career in that field. Usually that covers things like motion capture, modelling and animation, script writing, cinematography, and video production.

You could probably get a head start by playing around with an animation program like blender or doing some research on cinematography.

Who makes Cinematics?

I just gotten out of High school and I really have a huge passion in pursuing a career in the video game industry. So far I was planning to somehow get a masters in game design and animation but what I am mainly interested in doing is the cinematics that usually teases the game or is used for the games introduction. So far I searched google trying to find out what skills and who actually makes them but so far I found no luck. Can someone give me some insight about it as of what should I start doing now before going to college to prepare on exceeding in this profession?
