Well, this thread turned out nicely.

Take it to the PM's perhaps? Either way, going to go ahead and lock this up. While a well intentioned thread it's turned into nothing but a big disagreement about something completely unrelated.

Sorry, just had to point that out, no matter who it is or how you feel towards them, language shouldn't be brought into it unless you know 100% they should know better. This chap could live in Yorkshire and have adopted Yorkshire expressions but really be a Polish immigrant for all you know ... Just a thought

Sovvolf, for your own sake, stop this argument now. Whether you think you "win" this debate (or fledgling flamewar, and if it grows I'm booking tickets to join in ) or not is meaningless. You've taken a joke ridiculously seriously, like munchie said he's just winding you up, so there's no point having a massive, unreadable wall of text in response. There's no way to win, since there's no debate at all, just you being made a fool of by yourself, for the most part.

This is all meant in faith. If you're planning on sticking round these parts, you've got to make sure you don't take a joke and make a one-person "debate" out of it, or you'll be posting arguments that no one's interested in until the end of time .

I never said that, I said that there was a large proportion of racists in Barnsley. Which there is, proportion could be 0.00001% but if in other parts of the country it is 0.00000000000001% it is still a large portion in comparision to the rest of the country.
