Apparently they cant replicate the problem so they just gave up... Guess that means everyone that has freezing problems is just screwed cause they wont let us return games for refunds just new games. And now there working on Fable 3?! WTF I mean you come out with a faulty game and now you think its so great your going to make another and steal our money again? I'm gonna write a letter to Bill Gates and see if he will sue them for me.

Interestingly, I played some other parts of the game and solved some quests that had not been solved and the things that made my hang, went away! I was able to finish the game. This just smells like seriously bad quality control.

After playing for a week, Fable 2 is locking my console when I try to travel to the bowerstone market. I've tried all the recommended fixes including installing to hard drive and clearing the cache. I also tried playing without the patch but my save games won't load. I can travel to other areas.

i bought a new fable 2 today it still froze i did everything to make stop frezzing it did not work im f****ng pizzed i just want to play my fable 2

I found that if you download it to your hard drive, it eliminates most of the lag and loads a lot faster.

Um hey. I didn't see anyone have a freezing case similar to mine, so I'm just asking is there any way to fix it at all? What happens is, at seemingly random points in the game, my game freezes. It begins to slow down, and then soon some of the textures start to disappear and stuff. Then BAM my character, and all the NPC's, are frozen in place. But the odd thing is, the environment such as grass, trees, even the cloak of my character, still sway in the breeze. It's ridiculous. And if I attempt to press start or even open up the dashboard, the xbox freezes. HELP!

same here but mine freezes right in the begging. I tryed restartin it doze a of times but it still freezes. I tryed a differt game ant it work so I took fable2 back to get a new one but the game still froze.

i no i got this game last year, played just fine. but i had to stop playin it cuz of work.. since my hours got cut ive been able to play, well actually i cant play cuz i cant load a saved file.. if i start a new game plays just fine.. but cant load a saved game! this blows, waste of fuckin 60 bucks.. they needa fix this! and i have tried on my bros xbox as well.. same ***. cant play! *** im pissed!

I dont understand how this issue is not fixed yet .....or why this game is still being sold.....i got this game a few days ago and already its doing this to me ...........i have 2 360s in my house so i know its not my xbox. i just dont understand how this has been going on for this long and nothing is being done. either fix this problem or take the game off the market

this is the Worst marketing scheme ever, the disc got a giant scratch on the rim just from being inside the console, and now it doesnt read the disc, i dont think i'll ever buy another game from Lionhead again.

This is silly. I can't load Westcliff or the Crucible or anything in that region. It's so frustrating because the quests I want to do take me there.

I had the exact same issue. Random game freezes after 5 to 30 minutes. I tried everything that I found posted on the forums to fix it and nothing worked.

One thing I did notice is that when I played a new game, with or without the patch, installed to the hard drive or not, the game would run great. No lock ups. Only seemed to happen when I loaded a saved game.

Next time I loaded a saved game, I did a quick "save and continue". I played for over 3 hours each time I did this with no freezing. Not sure if this will help anyone, but I'm satisfied.

I quit playing Fable 2 today. My game froze last night after getting an audience for the door in Wraithmarsh. I'm stuck in place and can't do anything but access the menu. I'm stuck in a scene so I can't teleport either. I've tried installing to my HDD but no luck, as well as deleting the cache and other fixes suggested across the internet. I refuse to delete my save file. Thanks for nothing Lionhead.
