Ok, we all loved black and white and black and white 2 so what sort of stuff would you want for black and white 3. This thread is for anyone who has a great idea about the 3rd game in the series and hopefully Lionhead will take the ideas into consideration and your dreams will come reality! Personally I wold love a platypus, a frog or even a creature creator! Also a motion dectective glove to control the godly hand would be soooo SWEET! Imagine sticking your middle finger up at the ememy god, or flicking away enemy troops or stroking your creature like you would your cat or dog!!! Please Lionhead we pray to you read our amazing ideas!

why do people migrate to evil cities?

if you take the path of evil, i think you should have to conquer. why would anyone go to a barren city, where peoples heads are impaled on spikes, kiddies dropped into torture pits. where the ambiant sound is wailing. do you agree?

Repopulating Abandoned Towns & Villages

I'm playing as a god on land five (first Japanese) and have won the land by impressiveness, which left loads of abandoned villages. One of the objectives was to take three towns by force, so I have sent the troop of archers you automatically get given to take over empty towns. I captured two and rebuilt and repopulated them by placing villagers at the town centre to make them live there, and it worked fine.

But when I took over the third empty town (Sekkio in the middle, near the west coast) I had some trouble getting people to live in it. It has a Greek town centre, so I'm definitely in control of it, and I got some people to live there initially, but now whenever I place someone at the town centre the population stats for the town don't go up, even though the population stats for the town I made them leave go down. I don't have this problem for any other towns (I can move people between them just fine). Lots of people move through Sekkio on their way to the mines but live in other villages, so it looks full, but the Sekkio town stats have a population that isn't even in double figures. All the women I managed to move into the town have died so I can't get them to breed to get the population back up.

Any ideas why this is happening or how to get people living there?

Okay, I've just installed Black and White 2 but i havent had a chance to play it yet due to the fact that i keep getting a fatal error saying 'cannot create 3d device' but i cant adjust the settings of my screen res. some help please as i cant figure out what to do

Hi, I recently reinstalled black and white 2 on my pc and can't seem to get it running, when I run the game, an error message comes up just before the intial "black and white 2 screen" before you even get into the game.

Black and White 2 core application has stopped working.

Vista looks for solution, and fails.

I have installed both patches and am fully up to date driver-wise, I have no clue why this is being such a pain!!!

Vista ultimate 32-bit

Nivida Geforce 8800 GT

Advice With Stuck Creatures

Is now becoming all too common a phrase...

I'm on the fourth map, I think, and so far this is a really fun game. Not much of a challenge, but fun all the same. On the third map my creature got stuck outside the walls of the town and couldn't find a way back inside whenever I told him to, no matter how slowly I tried to lead him in. He'd make it into the gates and get stuck between all the houses. Since I'd already won that level I didn't really care.

This time, i've barely started the fourth map and he's already stuck, this time down a road of houses. I built a road, laid all the foundations, and the creature took it upon himself to help the villagers construct them. Now that he's finished, he won't move from his spot, saying "I can't get there" whenever I tell him to move somewhere else.

Is there any way to pick up your creature like you can with your villagers? Because apparently it's a really needed feature...

Thanks for reading. I'm going to attempt to finish this map without a creature's help while i'm waiting for replies. His body may get bigger but his brains clearly don't scale.

Landscape glitch?

okay, well i think this started happening when i downloaded all of the patches.. if my creature turns fully , all the ground around him turns but not the rest of my town :/ it looks really weird o_0 is there any way i can fix this?

If my creature rips out one more tree, I'm kicking him out of my town

I started off my new town, placed trees perfectly, and made the entire place look all pretty-like. Then, my lion comes over, and rips up a tree. I try to scold him, but his thoughts are on if eating grain is or not. Then, he just drops the tree, saunters over to the next one, and rips it out as well. Thoughts? If he should poo in the storehouse or not. bye, 40 impressiveness.

I've scolded my creature on any imaginable tree-related task, yet he still just rips them up and tosses them to the ground. He's not overly or anything, I think he's still in the area. What the heck is up with this?

I am currently playing as a god. But I really have problem with the earthquake wonder the japanese throws at me. I survived 2 earthquakes. But the third one destroyed both my warehouse and my mine.

Do you have anny tips how to survive it?

I tried to muster an army to make a raid towards it and destroy it... but I didn't stand a chance

Good deeds going unnoticed on my alignment

The game is working perfectly for me except for one problem. Doing deeds doesn't seem to change my alignment % even a .1 on my town centre. deeds will increase my alignment % no problem, but going deeds doesn't seem to decrease it.

Is this normal or is my game bugged? :/

I'm now on 57% even though the only thing i have done during the game that is is harvest trees, killed 3 enemy platoons with my creature and captured one neutral town.

"good" way to capture cities?

right, back in B&W1 you could use your creature to do miracles and impress the villages to become your own, however in BW2 the only way to capture em - at least in the first few levels that I've played is using your creature to destroy the enemy armies and then send several soldiers to capture the city center thingy. What is the non- way?

EDIT: also what's wrong with the armies AI- they keep getting stuck

I just got my copy of B&W and every time i put it in my CD-drive the computer recognizes that there is a CD in the drive but the game dosnt launch or even allow me to access the disk.

Breeding problem

hey everyone i'm new to the forum but,

i have a problem with breeding. My people want breeding really bad and i have like 97 breeders and nothings happening. my people still want breeding and it's at the 100 percent mark. I have 4 nurseries, alot of housing, and tons of fertility statues(1 for every house).

okay, i got the tiger unlocker to work on my vista by using regedit, anyways.. i got my tiger 100% and im not sure if this is normal or what.. his stomach is completely sucked into his torso, it looks like he is wearing armor LOL
Could somebody post a link so i can download the tiger skin (NOT ALTERED IN ANY WAY.) that way i could put it in the btiger folder as a base instead of , and play without the glitch.

Black & White 2 for Xbox 360/ PS3

A few years ago I got Black & White 2 for Christmas, I installed it a played it and all that jazz, then a few months or so later, the computer went belly-up.
When the technician came, he removed to problem from the hard drive. Unfortunately, the problem was a second graphics card that we didn't know we had, and Black & White 2 was running on it, so when this was removed, I found that I couldn't play Black & White 2, and since nobody knew it was in there, we couldn't claim anything.

As the title says, this is about converting Black & White 2 to next-gen consoles, or possible making a small collection with both Black & White games, and other add-ons. Or possible even, should a Black & White 3 be made, the limited edition could have Black & White 2 as the bonus content.

I've typed this into Google, and the results came up with the gist of Peter Molyneux saying "We might convert Black & White 2 to next-gen consoles, but the main problem would be the controls. With a mouse we can say "We have 2 buttons, and a middle wheel" as with next-gen consoles, we have to go back to the drawing board."

I was just wandering on peoples thoughts, and to see if LionHead Studios are actually going to go ahead and do it.

Problem installing Black and White 2

And an error message saying something with a circular problem appear.

Right so i've seen a couple of threads asking for ides for Black & White 3 but what i wanna know is if theres going to be a Black & White 3 if so when if not why

and what would convince Lionhead or even microsoft to put one in production maybe if some people managed to start a pertition or something

because it's kinda bad just to leave it how thay did i mean what happened after we defeted the aztec god

and may i subjest that if thay do make the game make it so it helps patches up the gap between Black & White 2 and fable 1

anyway thats all i have to say at the moment

Help!Game won't install!

Hi Guys,

Bought BW2 the other day as I loved playing the original many years ago. I put the disk in, run the setup.exe manually and the installshield wizard comes up no problem. I click on english as a language and then immediately it comes up with:

Error (-50004 : 0x8007005) has occured whilst running setup. Please make sure that you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications.

Has anyone else had this problem?

The autorun does work when you put the disc in, but as soon as I click on 'install' it brings up my SMC wireless internet details??!! could the game be conflicting with that?

I am not very techy, but my boyf reckons our pc meets all the system requirments on the back of the box ie how many MB and the processor speed. I have used the diagnostic checks on the disk too and nothing comes up as a problem.

Any help will be gatefully recieved
