I agree for the most part.
Co-op gets pretty lame and the only thing that'd make me want to play it is if
I could show off my unique heros...
The camera should defiantly be separated for online play and obviously stay
the way it is for play on one TV.

I doubt it'll be changed however because it's not broken,
it's functioning just as they intended it to.

I don't understand why people complain more about not being able to use their own hero in somebody else's game over the shared camera.

I honestly couldn't care less about being a pre-made henchman, they need to make the cameras separate - would make it a whole lot more fun .

I don't think the co-op sucks. I think it was designed so that two players could play at the same time in one game on one game console.

Yes it may not be what online gamers think, but those of us who do not play online like to sometimes play multiplayer games.

But, asking the x-box to import one hero from one saved game to another saved game on the same console is impossible with in the constraints of the game consoles programming.

Although I agree that Co-op was quite disapointing, taking a dump on a manure field wont make it stink any more. Should you wish to understand why the co-op sucked than i suggest that we PM a Dev to explain why. Even though its not certain we will get an answer its better than posting in this thread how much hate you have.

I started up a new character on my friend's 360, played through childhood, grew up and set out for Bowerstone. My friend joined in with his character, and we both realised, wtf you can't be your own guy, and the camera sucks carpets. I enjoy playing Fable 2 single player, where I get to see my character and what he's doing. I don't enjoy playing a co-op game where the camera fucks the gameplay and one of the players is only some lame generic hencheman. If Lionhead don't fix this, I won't be doing any co-op. It's just not fun at all. It's just lame.

We never were to be our own characters. Most of us knew that, for a very long time. I am so surprised this is still coming up.
Maybe Fable 3, we can.

They could have easily not put this feature in.

P.S. Your title is wrong. Co-op implies that it uses "multiple people"

Mabye he shouldnt talk the talk if he cant talk the talk. This is the worst coop. It's not even coop. Its me watching my friend have fun while not progressing through the game myself. All along the way the camera sucks my chode. The only reason they told us there wouldnt be coop right away was so reviewers couldnt have it in their reviews.

Wana see true coop? Trade in Fable 2 and buy saints row 2. Play through the whole game with drop in drop out coop. No fixed camera, you can custumize ur character online, and its fun as hell.

I think there's something wrong with my co-op... Isn't the other player supposed to show up as a generic henchman? Whenever anyone joins my game, the only thing I see is their Gamerpic floating around with their name above it.

Why the F*** is everyone so pissed on the coop thing. first of all, YOU CAN'T BRING YOU'RE HERO TO COUCH COOP! But if you play ONLINE COOP, you CAN bring you're other charcter to you're world. I tried it with a friend and it works. If you guys are complaining about couch coop then get a life, play the PROPER WAY TO COOP and play it ONLINE!

It's sort of like the point of Fable - Watching your character develop. So them taking out co-op developing is the gayest thing ever. I don't care about seeing my friend's "world."

It's like if I get invited to a chick's house; I go to see her. I would pretty dissapointed if she took me to her room and said "LOL LOOK OUT OF MY WINDOW AT MY PRETTY GARDEN" and gave me a cup of tea.

This problem needs a DLC where you can actually see your friend's character. I am not going to go ahead and say that I am grateful for the Coop if it is shitty. Who the hell wants to play as a henchmen?

Someone who has never played Fable before perhaps...

When I play with a friend neither of us want to look like a model already chosen for us. You are supposed to be able to pimp your character and make them look unique but I was hoping that I could show my friend without having to switch worlds.
