You should use Hamachi or Phoenix, not both.
The advantage of Hamachi is, that it doesn't work for B&W only, but for all LAN-multiplayer-games to offer Internet play through a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
There is not much you have to do:
1. Install Hamachi
2. create a VPN
3. give the login information to the people that are willing to join the VPN
4. start B&W and go to LAN multiplayer
5. host a LAN game
6. the other people of the VPN must start B&W too and join the LAN you host
Play!
Don't ask me how to do things in detail, just check the B&W manual on how to host/join a LAN game. I also don't know anything about Phoenix (how to configure), before you ask.
Everyone should boycott Ubisoft and their new Online DRM for PC games. This has gone too far in the reduction of the rights of users and I am sick of it! It is not made to fight piracy, but to control the customer.
