Fable TLC dosent work on that *uckin* vista... there are so meny there have the same problem, i hope there soon come and patch to it, so it works on vista. But are there someone here theres know about there come an patch or somethnig so it works? Or shall i buy a new computer

it dont work either on them... I have V Ultimate 64 bit, and the programs exit after the intro. There are Microsoft Windows Updates, but i cant install them!!!(compatiblity problem)

If somebody has a clue, then drop us a wire...

It works absolutely perfect on Vista Ultimate 64-bit. At least for me.

A bit more details could be necessary to say why it doesn't work for you:

1. What happens at all? Does it start or does it show an error message?

2. What hardware is in your computer? CPU/Mainboard, sound card, graphic card and RAM should be sufficient. I for example have an AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+ on an AMD/ATI 780X mainboard with Realtek ALC889 integrated audio chip and a ATI Radeon HD3870 (512 MB video RAM), paired with 4 GB system RAM.

3. What other software are you running in the background? I'm looking at additional video codec packages or Windows skin software especially, as they caused problems with Fable in the past.

Furthermore you should definitely have all your drivers up-to-date. That goes without saying and includes mainly DirectX, mainboard drivers, sound drivers and probably the most important one, the graphic driver.

Also try running it in WindowsXP compatibility mode and with administrator rights!

Well now, notebooks are a difficult topic with games in general. The problem is that the hardware of notebooks is highly customised by the manufacturer (e.g. ASUS).

On the other hand side it is in most cases simply the graphic card that lacks a proper driver support. This is due to the fact that the graphic chip manufacturer (e.g. NVIDIA) refuses to support their products for notebooks directly because of the highly customised designs of various notebook manufacturers. This means their (NVIDIAs) driver does not install on notebooks, even though it would run. The notebook manufaturer is responsible to make drivers for it, but they tend to be a slow bunch lazybones.

Long story short, you can try downloading/installing the latest driver directly from ASUS (latest but not actually pretty new in most cases), modify an official NVIDIA driver (force its installation) or download an already modified driver from www.laptopvideo2go.com.

Try it and report back if you still need help. Although it could get a bit more difficult if this isn't the source of the problem.

I have a laptop and I must say it works better with Vista then it did with xp. No patch required but if I am not mistaken it was annoying instaling it.

Ouk... im downloading now the latest driver for my vista 32bit
I hope it works, i dont understand why it has to be with that.
Because all my games are working perfect on m laptop.
I play Pro Street in perfect Grafics, and i never had a problem.
But thx for the help! I try it with this now and let you know if it worked...

Dunno for sure. I think the latest drivers are in the 170ies as revision number, but this 169.09 should be OK too.

You have to select one that suits your operation system, that is the only "trick". Vista 32 bit or 64 bit, seems to be the question you need to answer for yourself.

Don't worry to install the wrong driver on your system, I think they have a fail-proof system that doesn't allow installing 32 bit driver on 64 bit systems and vice versa.

I have Vista ( 34Bit) and it works Perfectly!
At First i Had To Download something of Fables website to make it compatible with Vista and it worked great!

Bc i didnt find a 7700Go driver, I installed the latest 7600 Go. and I hv to say: It works perfectly with it! Thx for helping me! perfect support here

Same, and it works on mine perfectly. Actually I have Fable TLC on Xbox(360 Elite) and also my PC, and both have had no probs at all.

Give us some specifications on your PC, can't tell you if we don't know what you're running on. Stuff like CPU, RAM, Video Card, and what version of DirectX you're running, what Antivirus you have installed. All of those things and more could be factors man.
