Maybe English isn't his first language.

@dockhead. No you can not play as your children Lionhead confirmed this a while ago. They said the testers were breeding like rabbits so they removed it from the game.

    Thank you Ralph H. Baer

    That must have been fun...

Anyways can you tell me where this was confirmed?(the not playing as your kids bit not the breeding testers bit) I'm not arguing I just want to know.

Translation for people like whiteraven who odnt undestand Big Smile [:D].....I'm a big fan of Lionhead Studios and Fable, as we all know they're making Fable 2, IMO this is going to be the best game ever! I have a few question for you lot, hope you can help Smily [:)]

Do you know if you can become your kids when you get too old to fight in the game? I was wondering what wouuld happen if i was 70, had a kid, and then he grew up to be 21 and i was 91 (the next bit is added by me to  make more sense Big Smile [:D]).. 91 seems too old to be fighting so again, i ask, can i carry on as my kid so im not fighting as a 90 year old geezer XD....

this is pointless as portarock already aswered the question but meh, i have free time on my hands Big Smile [:D]

Re: i like to know this

To Jontis- You have too much free time if you asked me... Maybe you should meet my boss... No, you don't want to do that... Even I don't want to meet him.... And I'm his favourite employee...
And for the thousand time or so- No, unfortunately, you won't be able to play as your kids once you get too old... Which is a bit stupid.... Seeing an 80-year-old geezer weilding a two-handed GreatHammer is a bit strange, knowing that only the handle weights probably more than him and him being a skinny old coot... That will probably quit me from the game...

Hey, boy, boy.... Yes you, you want a banana? I'll give it to you for that fancy Fable 2 game you got there...

Re: i like to know this

Or maybe the story will end at about 60 years, you would be able to continue playing until 70 and the last movie would tell of how you died in your bed, cluching the old parier( I would have said GreatSword, but there won't be any of these in the time of Fable 2) and yelling: 'Let me at them! Let me at them! I can still fight! Just let me at them!!!' while your family and friends strap you to the bed with leather belts...Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]Stick out tongue [:P]Hmm [^o)]Huh? Re: i like to know this

English isn't my first (nor second Stick out tongue [:P] ) language, but I'll try my best there:
Talking about the age system, someone know how fast the time passes for you, mean.. will you become that old so quickly or will you stay young longer at your journey? Like Fable 1, there will be a narrative jump, so you'll go from childhood to adulthood that fast. Lastly, what happens when you're so old to even hold up your sword? There are some sort of game over?
    Thanks...

Re: i like to know this

Still not perfectly understandable, but what do I know?? I'm an idealist... Anyway... We're currently discusing this both here and on other topics... As far as we know, there will be a 'time gap' like in Fable 1... But I don't really know anything about how fast will time go... I hope that there will be some real ageing signature, though... And I'm not talking about just facial appearance... I'm talking about that list you accessed through the in-game menu... The one where your alignment stats were, alongside with other interesting stuff... There was a line where your years were shown and they actually changed only after passing a certain story 'chapter'... That was fairly stupid, because you could stay like 40-something basicly until you got bored... The 'trick' was not to do core quests... I actually left the game running for a day (full 24 hours) not doing anything and I hadn't aged a bit... I was still 50-something...
