I think there is more then just online co-op. Pm said he is not allowed to talk about online co-op right now and that he is waiting for a big event to anounce it (E3 most likely), but he also said that Lionhead is doing something that no one else has done before so it has to be more then simply having on line co-op......I wonder what it could be.

I dont think that the whole morph was cut they said it would quick but you could still get a big belly then lets say 2 in game days go by and you have a baby.

Because she wants it to be.  It would be annoying if you were pregnant forever. 

This demonstrates that sex only plays a small role in the game.

The point was you can still get in a fight in two game days and why would they morph 9 months of pregancy in to days? They will probably just skip forward in time now.

While the loss of the prostitution job may make sex seem less significant as far as we know brothels are still in and there is still protected sex which means copulation is not only for procreation, so it is indeed still a significant part of the game. The speediness of pregnancy only farther enhances the significance as the building of your family depends solely on the choice to have unprotected sex and there is no in between stage. It is either have a family or don't. Lets let this be the end of this train of thought now, there already is a sex thread this one doesn't need to mirror it.

Because no one would want to not be able fight and all due to being pregnant.  It would really be lame.  Would just subtract from one of these things Fable is all about, combat.  Sure, I agree that two days is a bit ridiculous, but I honestly don't care.

The short pregnancy keeps sex from detracting from your game experience, still keeps you somewhat emersed, and provides a new twist that games have never seen before.  Female heroes may want to have a kid.  They want to see and feel like they're pregnant at least for a little while, so that explains why it's there at all.  (It'd be a little dumb to have sex one day and find a kid in your house the next.)  They didn't want to take away much adventuring and questing time from you.

Therefore, short (but not too short) pregnancy.

It makes sense to me.

Also you are forgetting about unprotected sex, sex as a service, gay sex and possibly even casual sex so the argument that a short pregnancy makes sex less of a detractor is a very one. We really should keep the significance stuff in the sex thread though. This tread doesn't need to go there.

What I am wondering now is how will they skip ahead? Will it just say 9 months later, will it be a montage of the character going through the pregnancy morphs, or something like that. I really hope they can include the morphs in there some how. I would hate for all the hard work of the devs creating those morphs to go to waste plus I think it would be cool to see how my character would look.

Fable 2 audio tribute!

Highly disappointing for me, at this rate the family features and female PC's will be removed before E3. I just don't understand the dropfest.

The most biggest attractment to being a female was getting pregnant, and with that the biggest attractment to family was getting pregnant also. You just don't bond as much with a quickie as you would a baby being inside you for a while. Look at it this way to, a mother is so bonded with her child because it was in her womb for almost a year, the child was a part of her. A Loving Bond and a baby popping out instantly really isn't that touching. So I'll probably ignore family all-together when I get F2, by then it'll be dumbed down to 'Preggors Wife', and 'Give Money'.

Family itself was suppose to be a emotional feeling but right now I'm not feeling it.

Prostitution really wasn't important to me, but now they removed everything that made being a Female special.

I just feel a piece of me missing everytime they remove something that was highly anticipated. I guess it wouldn't really affect me since I was planning to be a male, but still Peter was all saying how being a female was a whole new expierence but now it'll be just feel like The Sims with a sped up pregnancy cheat lol.

Also, who dint want to fight being a angry pregnant mom? That would of been totally awesome.
