How do i put my mod into effect?

    How do i put my mod into effect?

    I downloaded a mod from the enternet for a costume pack, it was saved as a .rar file and i have Winrar to open it, but im not G o o d [Good] at computers at all and i need some help or preferably a step by step. Thanks in advance.Rambo [:rambo:]

    Can you be more specific? Are you trying to find out how to use it? Or how to install it?

    Both. All i know is it's a .rar file and is on my Desktop. Tongue Tied [:S]

    • Open the .rar file.
    • Find the data folder or whatever the first folder is. (should be data)
    • Click "extract to specified folder" or something similar.
    • Copy the file to C:/Program Files/Lionhead Studios Ltd/The Movies
    • Then copy the same file to The Movies folder in your game directory (My Documents or something)
    • If it is a costume, it should show up when selecting a wardrobe for an actor/actress. If you download a set it would show up when slecting a set for a scene.

    sometimes if you extract the files it doesnt work, so youll have to do it manually
