OK - I have no idea of where to post this, but it seems like this is where everyone posts their techincal problems.
Is it a way to run The Movies in windowed mode? I can't find any setting for that.

Yes there is a trick. Right click The Movies shortcut on the desktop. Then go to where it says Target: then type -windowed after .exe" and click apply then ok.
Like this:

And it will run windowed.

Also, remember to have a space between .exe" -windowed
like that. And it may take awhile to open. Just be patient.

I got it to work by typing .exe" -windowed and clicking apply then ok.

Thanks for posting this information - extremely helpful.  Also, is there a way to control the size of the window?  And finally, how do I move the mouse between the movies game screen and my desktop - I was pushing the "windows" button, but that always pull up the start menu.  Just wondering if there was a cleaner way to switch between the two.

Nope, you can't resize the window I'm afraid.

Have you tried holding alt+tab to switch between windows?

Hi, i have Windows XP but the -windowed command doesn't do anything.

Even inside the game i use ALT+ENTER but no windowed mode anyway

Is there anything else i can do?

When in windows mode, I recommend moving you taskbar to the side of the screen and then adjusting the positioning of the window.  It makes life so much easier.
