Re: Tales Of Albion: The Full Story

I have to say, I find the lore so far to be pretty disappointing and lacking in depth, but I felt that way about Fable's story as well.

its a pretty awesome back story.
cant wait for the next 2 parts though, i think they'll have more to do with F2 cos the old kingdom was way way way before the first game and the next 2 are slightly closer to F2 Big Smile [:D]

Well what I liked about Fables storyline is that it was very mysterious and left alot of stuff open for speculation and stuff. But this was G o o d [Good] cause we need some basic background info before entering f2.

I personally cant wait till the fall of heroes cause that is what many have written AARs about and speculated on be fun to see what actually happened.

Spellcheck, grammar check, proofread over and over again and...

Think of something somewhat clever enough to have to analyse a little please?!

The first part was so obvious and badly written.

Re: Tales Of Albion: The Full Story

Not bad. Who is writing these stories? Bit of pain for some peeps having to download silverlight though..why cannot they just use IE? I know that it is the cross-everythingStick out tongue [:P]for .NET but still a pain.

I was lucky as I do testing for MS on the side so I had it before it went public ...anyways...

This history of Albion is living up to the title of it being fragmentry. It was G o o d [Good] to get some more insight behind Nostro. I wonder if the Lady Grey is related to Magdelena?

Re: Tales Of Albion: The Full Story

I kind of expect the Fall of Heroes story to be out around the same time as Fable 2. Not only will creation take awhile but the Fall of Heroes takes place just before Fable 2. Personally, if FoH comes out before Fable 2, I won't read it. I don't want to get the full backstory to Fable 2 and then end up doing a bunch of quests to reveal the backstory in game. Reading the FoH on the internet will basically be a walkthrough for those quests, if there are any =/

    Nah isn't it obvious?

1st chapter of the three that we have got to read so far fill in the info we were missing from Fable 1. Like just who or what exactly was Archon? Why was he/she/it apprently E v i l [Evil]? Whats with the sword of Aeons being so powerful? Why is Scythe so old yet so cool? etc.

So right now we are totally up to speed with the start of Fable 1, bit late Lionhead Stick out tongue [:P]

The 2nd chapter "The Fall of the Heroes" will obviously include the events of Fable 1, or the events of which will be carried forward into Fable 2 at any rate. However since when we finish TLC there's no reason to assume the Heroes Guild just collapses into nothingness I'm personally guessing that Heroes weren't needed anymore as there was no real threat so eventually it just withered away like an unused appendix, however that's just speculation.

The 3rd chapter will bring us right up to the beginning of Fable 2 with all the immediate back story before the game to let us know what kind of situation Albion is in, and perhaps give us a clue as to who Lucien is and why he's doing what he is.

So summary of my opinion on what the chapters will cover:

1st Chapter: Back story (Prologue) to Fable: The Lost Chapters

2nd Chapter: Events that unfold during Fable: The Lost Chapters and the explanation for the decline of the Guild of Heroes.

3rd Chapter: Aftermath of the Fall of Heroes and events and changes leading up to the present time of Fable 2.

Re: Tales Of Albion: The Full Story

The Spire looks rather odd in my opinion (Tales of Albion map), I mean there's a giant crack running down the center of it towards the base. Unless of course it's really a super huge staircase leading up to a giant door. Man I wish we had an in-game picture of The Spire to drool over...Sad [:(]
