I think, and you'll have to have a proper look at this before you go off and buy it, if you get the xBox360 Arcade version you'll get a cheap replacement console you can plug your old hard drive into, and furthermore it'll have the HDMI port on it for HD gaming (cable sold seperately), if not then remember to keep the old AV cable as the new one is only standard def.
It's probably the cheapest way to replace your console as you already have all the bits to it, unless you really want the ELITE then I would go for the Arcade to replace the console.
