Well i have really 2 questions, if u can anser i would apperciate it very much  ,1....if i never played the orginal fable will i have any problems with the story or the gameplay of the new  fable 2  ,  And As for the Second Q, Can you die in fable 2 how does the death system work ..... thanks guys sorry im new to the forum so please be patince with me im new with the whole fable series , thanks

fable 1's story will have little to do with this story so you shouldn't be lost... and you technically cannot die i guess when your health or HP is depleted you fall to the ground all dramatic like... then your EXP... or something goes down a little and you get back up really quick with a really dramatic burst of energy and knock a bunch of people back

2. Death - I don't think it really exists per se, it's more like you get knocked down and you have to sacrifice something so you don't get scars.

1.) You do not need to play Fable 1 to understand Fable II- although I believe there may be surprise appearances and continuations from the first Fable that Fable I players can appreciate.

 

2.) I'm not as up to date with this one, but apparently you 'spring up in a burst of magical energy' which takes away some of your experience? I'd get confirmation from someone else for that.

#1.  Peter M has said that Fable 2 should appeal to casual gamers as well as hardcore gamers, so I'm pretty sure you won't have any problems with the gameplay.  Fable 2 is not really a continuation of the story of Fable 1, so you really wouldn't NEED to play Fable 1 to fully experience Fable2, although it is a great game.

#2. For the death system, there was talk of when you fall, you get scarred from being struck on the ground.  They cut this system, because people were just restarting their games rather than having permanently scarred characters.  The new system in my opinion is much better.  Now, it's that you lose the experience that you did not soak up before you fell.

Uh, the scarring upon losing unconsious was taken out some time ago.

I can see why.  Hero falls down, enemies start stabbing him, Hero says "Hey, cut it out, stop it, I'm gonna get a scar..."

I believe that was an earlier concept that was scrapped, I don't think you get a choice, it's just a loss of exp.

Either way, we'll find out in a little over two weeks, but damn, two weeks has never felt so long.  If only I had remained oblivious to the existance of Fable 2 until it was one day from release.

1 no its a new story. but if u like u can buy first one for eassy 10 bucks or so at gamestop maby cheaper game u get like 10 hours out of it

2 well they did had a death system that u get beatin down and u have to chose to pay gold or get scars. but they said the testers didnt like it so they came up with something else  and idk but i dontthink it be like a death system where u die u must reload as peter said he hates it

yay that was was ditched and peter said the testers didnt like it that much  i think they should of kept it as its a choice and the game is about choices
