I know this is long but I think they are some idea's that could really make this game into the best game yet for the 360.
I bought this game expecting greatness and it is so very close. Please make it so you can see the other player's actual Hero in Co-op and give each player their own camera not the shared thing. I bought this game expecting greatness and it is so very close. Adding a "Hardcore" with 4-player Co-Op that scales the difficutly depending on the amount of players like in Diablo 2. (Which could be as simple as increasing the HP and Damage of the monsters or tripleing the amount spawned or even both) In this mode once you die you start over, which would be great considering you can't really ever die in Fable 2 the way it is now. It's just not the same when you know that NO MATTER WHAT you do you're going to come back right where you died in about 3 seconds to keep on plugging away at whatever killed you. (That is if you actually find something hard enough to kill you) And it would act as a sort of Player-Controlled Matchmaking system since obviously the people that don't die will end up together since everyone else will be back at the beginning. Considering the way the "Party" syster works an experience table or something might need to be added to the menu that comes up when you "Interact" with the player orb. Make Augments give the weapon some kind of a "Glow" effect. Add Legendary Augments.(Not Augments you can only use on Legendary weapons more like Augments to make a normal weapon more Legendary, i.e. an Augment that inverts your spell bar so that rank 5 is on the bottom and rank 1 is on the top, just for fun, or an Augment that allows you to cast the highest known rank of a Will Ability, regardless of it being at the top or bottom of your spell bar, as long as its EQUAL to or lower than the rank of the Spell above it.) Last but not least maybe some sort of online stage-based arena style mini-game where you have the option to team up with other people, and fight endless waves of monsters that just get harder and harder untill you eventually die, recieving rewards depending on how far you get. You have to use your in-game character and you don't receieve any experience, skill, will, or strength points from the monsters. It could even go the extreme of having a Ladder ranking system with set up teams that tracks what team has gotten the farthest. Im not a programmer but these things don't really seem like they would be all that complicated for the Lionhead Studio to add into the game. Im open to Critisism. (not that it would make much difference other then knowing if the Community agree's or disagree's). If you do like this post and feel it would be better noticed in a different thread, please feel free to copy it.

I'm sorry buddy but a lot of your idea's just don't work for me. The idea of new augments is great, but not the ones that you came up with. yes the co-op needs to be improved and two screens might be the way to do it, but players should not be allowed to stray to far from each other.
just drop the four player idea all together. the arena mini-game sounds ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) , but no experience? whats up with that?! and don't make it infinite, perhaps have a wave continue until you kill kill a certain Quota of enemies.
I'm not sure about the leader board/ ranking system(better keep that to yourself) and finally diablo 2??? what the hell does that have to do with Fable?
some great ideas but you need to work on them.

Someone sounds a little bit picky... I'm honestly quite happy with the way Fable II turned out, and I'm more than pleased with a lot of the augments. I found it interesting that they threw some flukey augments in there - like the one that'll give you gold for each creature you kill, but as a result you deal out less damage and face more when attacked; as opposed to the one that just gives you gold for each defeated enemy. And if they put out, as you called them, 'Legendary Augments'; wouldn't that defeat the purpose of looking for Legendary Weapons? I know I probably wouldn't go looking for them if I had the augments to mimic weapons like that. I'd rather spend the gold on some days than go on a whole new adventure looking for what I want way out in God only knows where. And while I agree that it would be nice to play as your Hero in someone else's world, do you have any idea how difficult it would be to bridge someone's Hero over to another console? Especially over Live, with those of us who use (what at some point ultimately becomes) a laggy wireless connection? With all of the changes you can make to your character in terms of appearance, it would take a considerable amount of work and time to play as your specific Hero over Live. The setup that they went with makes a lot of sense. 1.) Pick your Henchman (or woman); 2.) Pick your Melee weapon; 3.) Pick your Ranged weapon. It's fine enough for me. I just played it Live for the first time last night, and while I was at first disappointed that I couldn't play as my Heroine, I was extremely pleased with the character I wound up playing as. After all, the only real differences are your weapons and appearance; your stats, experience, and spells are all still there. If you wanna see someone else's Hero, join their game. If you want someone to see your Hero, invite them to your game. That simple. Like I said before, it takes a lot of work to do what you're suggesting, and Lionhead (although an amazing bunch) has only so much time to get what they want completed, with only so many people to do it. Some things are reasonable to ask, some are not. When you talk about wanting to have some sort of arena-style mini-game, it sounds like you just want to play a 'killstuff' game. If you wanna just kill stuff... Go destroy a few towns. Surely endless waves of guards will sate you? Better yet, go play Halo Live. There's a lot of killing in that.
Lie to me, convince me that I've been sick forever. And that all of this will make sense when I get better.

The Trials of a Master Cheif
As you know only the members of the Fable 2 community can only get the Halo 3 armor and sword (Hal's armor & sword) by buying the Legendary edition of Fable 2. I have come up with a DLC concept that will allow people to get the armor but still make Lionhead money.
In the description of the Halo 3 items it talks of a hero stepping through a interdimensional portal. Lets say that this portal opens again. When our hero comes across this rip in the galexy it releses a stasis field similar to the one Cortana was in. This stasis grabs your faithful 4 legged friend and he is ripped into another dimension. You then have your first choice leave your doggy to die, or venture into the unknown and save your cainine companion. If your choice is to leave your four legged amigo you are able to acess the portal at any time you feel you are ready but the player is put under pressure of loosing his treasure finding buddy.
If you have any questions, or want to hear more reach me through my Email posted in my profile.

Hey i just saw your idea and it looks pretty ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) . It could do with a bit of work but its generally pretty solid. I think thou that the friend should be cut out and the person who gets mortally wounded is Hammer so people find it a bigger choice. But on the other side the Wizard is about to go burn down the place where your family lives.
Power to the people!

I think if fable 2 could use some of the old effects like in fable 1, like the foot prints left when u walk when u are ![E v i l [Evil]](/emoticons/e_v_i_l.gif) or ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) , hair being able to grow, being able to have skills to pick pocket people and pick lock doors, take items of corpes and some other stuff. I also believe there should be more types of armour like the awesome knothole island knight armour and some other little things to make the game more interesting but it's pretty fun already just could use some more things you can do. The knothole add on was pretty ![G o o d [Good]](/emoticons/g_o_o_d.gif) but a bit too short, hope fable 2 can be improved from a great game to an even greater on

i was really really disapointed by the free roaming aspect of the game, it wasnt a big step up from fable in my opinion, you could basically hop the fence and explore the little ditch next to the road which was cornered off in fable one, brightwood was cool and the farm place was, bower lake was pretty nice too, i just thought that places like westcliff, wraithmarsh and every other place didnt seem to have much more free roamin than the first fable, i mean you could go off abit but there was only ever one path back, which felt just as restricting as having to follow a road, i think what this game really needs is a few really wide open wilderness spaces, i couldnt seem to get away from civilisation xD, i really really liked witchwood from fable one, if they made a really big forest like that, maybe the size of brightwood?, that would be cool, i reackon they could make something out of teh barrow fields aswell, like a load of hills and there could be a spot where a mist takes over and wierd stuff starts happening, i just want to feel like im playing the open ended game i felt i was promised

On the subject of DLC containing more spells how about these?
*A spell that temporarily changes your dog into other ferocious creatures like Norse, Greek, Roman, Germanic, ect. mythological creatures. Or simply Stronger more ferocious animals such as a coyote, wolf, tiger, lion, bear, ect. The higher the rank of this spell the stronger, more ferocious, larger the creature your dog can turn into. Also the length of time the dog maintains this transformed state. And the dog under the influence of this spell does no longer wait for your enemy to be on the ground ready to die, but attacks full force all surrounding or targeted enemies.
*A spell that surrounds the enemy with a glowing rope (hopefully makes the electric poping sound) that temporarily restrains them and transmits life to the hero; lots like the Drain life spell in Fable 1, but with the "restrain" twist. Targeted enemies will be restrained longer and will have more life drawn from them.
Simple ideas that can be tweaked. I would like more armour related clothes in the DLC along with the ability to go to Samarkland and the Hook Coast. But also I would like a quest to restore the old Oakvale from the flood.
Thanks for listening; Feedback welcome!
