Really this is the most pathetic excuse for a forum ever, half of the features from vbulletin were taken out and was replaced by some slower crap that gives you error after error... This is what i got all day today until just now, together with the server busy crap we are giving alot it is just horrible, no wonder why so many people are leaving.

Also as a guy in another thread said i cant access any profiles in IE, Firefox or Opera.

I also get these Error problems. Although this one was different, the message is usually blue and the description is normally different. Don't know if that means anything.

But anyway. It's very annoying and in Firefox and sometimes IE too, I can't access the website for days on end. Frustrating.

I was having the same problem the other day while using Firefox, but it worked fine when I tried IE.  The next day it worked fine on Firefox again.

Yup, happens all the time. It's a really bbad advert for yourselves tbh, Lionhead - I'd be pretty uninspired if I was a new visitor thinking of buying your products.

Especially when it happens after you've spent a while writing a long post, as U.G. mentioned (and Quaseman fairly recently too, as I remember..)

I vaguely remember the errors starting to a practically unusable level around the time Fable II was released, so I mostly put it down to shoddy bandwith management by MS. No idea if that's really the case, however.

Anyway. It's annoying. Please sort it out. I hear there's a great forum system out there called Vbulletin, for example - you may be familiar with it...?

EDIT - Seriously though - Vbulletin was great, it's replacement is a very sub-par system. We've had 17 months for you to polish it, and it still feels like it's running on alpha/early beta software. You've tried very hard to make it work well, which I appreciate, but there comes a point where you have to accept that from a customer service point of view it's simply not fit for purpose. Please give serious consideration to using something better suited to the job.

Yes that happened to me just yesterday and today i now cant access the site with firefox so writing this in IE, pisses me off quite a bit that i have to use this to access my favorite forum.

Yes. I recently got very active on 2 other VBulletin forums and they run so smooth  and one of them is much more active than this and much faster loading... It's just amazing coming from this to that but i guess MS wont allow php... So much for LH not changing anything that we would notice with the takeover.

Sorry to bump this back up but now I can't even access the site at all unless I use IE, which is painfully slow compared to Chrome (and doesn't have a built in spell checker, which may expose my horrible tendancies for typos... fix this now !)

Sorry to sound like I'm moaning, but is there any update on this?

A fix that sometimes works for me is signing out of your account on hotmail.com, then it sometimes goes back to normal and you can log in again.

What was weird for me is that i would get the error on community.lionhead, so then I would try to go to allboards.lionhead, and then it would work.  Or, in some cases, it would be the other way around.  Quite frustrating, really.  but I never really thought about relogging my email and password.  Maybe I should give that a shot.

Oh, and by the way, the only thing this forum is for anyways are gamer tags.  Do we really even need them?  Would vBulletin work with gamer tags?

I mean, come on, I'm sure that since MS practically are able to control everything, wouldn't they be able to come up with a solution?  Like buy vBulletin?  Oh wait, we wouldn't want that to happen, would we?

"Not being pHP" is actually a thing maggot, allows us to do much cooler things than PHP ever could do, plus from a 'security' pov it's much safer. But hey, you like to complain aeh....

At first i was really confused with me replying to myself.

But yeah i have had that error when posting a message, the new site is maybe safer but it sure as hell isnt better for us, it is much slower and everything is just annoying about this site... Even small things like no IMG tag function... It surely cant be hard with this amazing asp.net.

Nothing that I know of, which is worrying...  I'll look into it though, but it s a bit like when your car doesn't run; I can check the tires are still on, there is oil in it, fuel in the tank, I've got the keys, there is a steering wheel and a gas pedal but still it doesn't work.  What to do next? Indeed, get an engineer or push the thing in a river...
