I can;'t build an army! Halp!

Hey, any help with this would be apreciated. Im on land 4 of regular B&W2, and first of all my town is 100% unhappy but my allignment is almost 100% G o o d [Good]. They need more food but this is a new problem for me and I don't believe its the only reason that my people could be at 100% unhappiness. I only have one town.

My main issue is that when ever i try to make an army it says I have no men to use to make the platoons. but according to my statistics i have about 41 males living here. I think that maybe I cant make men into soldiers if they are disciples, so I ask, how do I get rid of someone's Disciple-ness?

Grab the villager & shake the mouse.

Yes, and also remember that overworking them is a big cause for unhappiness.

Sounds like you need to fix the food problem.  Then people will reproduce, then you will have more people for your army.

Probably you've made all your villagers disciples.

So the desciples will stay at their jobs even if u make huge army's?

Job attendance is as vital to a disciple as a transfusion of rich, healthy blood to a sick man.

The disciples will stick with their work, and miss the free time period at the end of the day, working until it's time to sleep. They are not classed as available men to form platoons, no. So they won't enter the tents.

I think the OP's problem was probably old age. Having enough men to form a platoon is great but if they're old timers they're pretty much useless and slow, it's rest home time for them, or sacrifice time, if you're playing E v i l [Evil]ly. Cry []

I tend to keep a small town purely for breeding when I'm playing, then I use the Multiple Grab to transfer them to a new town. Or, pick up all the villagers nearing old age, make a platoon, and then disband it instantly, all the free men from the platoon will be twenty years old again. Young and fresh Disciple Breeders.
