    Tarison's Blue Screen

Why can't I choose the floor tiles I need in Tarison's blue screen???

I select the scenes  but    I can't change the floors Tongue Tied [:S]

    Re: Tarison's Blue Screen

From what I understand, if the actual scene itself has assigned variants (i.e. has adjustable sliders for some of the scenes to allow different emotions for the actors, camera positions, etc), this overrides the ability to change the floors.  I don't think there's any way around this, other than to use floor props to "block out" the blue tiles in certain scenes, I'm afraid.

    Re: Tarison's Blue Screen

Some scenes, in the Tarison Bluescreen modded sets, are not native to the blue screen, so as such have no slider for it. You can always change the bluescreen basic floor to something else by chnaging the texture blue_ground_v00.dds to something else, more neutral so it won't affect your filming.

    Hardly a helpful reponse.

I presume you were "whatting" in response to Ubernewbie's post about changing floors.  The file "blueground_v00.dds" is the default floor colour for the Tarison sets when there is no option to change them.  If you change this file to one which has a neutral colour, it will appear on all the sets as the base floor type, so you don't have to worry about changing it again (even on the ones where you have the option to change it).

Obviously, backup a copy of the file before you change it, so you can change it back if you need to.

    Re: Tarison's Blue Screen

You could also use floor props or something to cover up if you're really desperate, but that in itself is rarely a complete solution.
