Molyneux did a fairly

job playing down Fable 2, but even that was not enough. With tech demos afloat; Molyneux once again received the blunt force of eager fans and their wild imaginations assuming much of the one button combat shown behind closed doors, and leaked onto the internet, would be in the game, despite Molyneux saying it was a progression he wants to see in future games.
Even little things like the definition of an "open world," and small missing features hinted at early on threw fans into a frenzy. This is a common problem in the game world with many developers like Bungie, Quantic Dream, and even Bioware showing promising tech demos with great bells and whistles not seen in their final products due to hardware limitations being fully realized in a full game. Unfortunately, due to the promises made with the original Fable; Lionhead usually receives unneccessary amounts of hassle from not only the fanbase, but other gamers as well due to word of mouth.
So please play down this E3 announcement with wise wording and constant reminders that certain things may not be seen in the final game. Thank you.
